I feel like they made this one just to make more money. The modes are boring, the game play drags. They should have just kept the last one and let you download the new characters.

unlike in the old version which was released several years ago during the playstation 3 era the new game have only a few choices of characters.

I felt like this was just an old style street fighter with better graphics. Was boring and repetitive

Played this game for 15 minutes. After fighting the same barely-pallette-swapped ultron soliders by mashing X that entire time (complete with terrible graphics and sub-par writing) I decided I'd pay the $15 sale price to never have to play this again. I like fighting game stories, but I mainly get them for when people come over. I don't dislike anyone enough to subject them to this garbage though.

Not what I expected. Lack of venom in the line up. Also, it doesn't play like I know it

Capcom made poor decisions with this fighter no x-men characters poor visuals etc

It’s no marvel vs capcom 3, still a great game and recommend it

I bought this game thinking it was going to be fun and full of characters but its more like the Infinity War characters only.

My son wanted this game so I got it. That was 5 months ago and it’s still in the wrapping material.

What a joke! I didn't think I could dislike a game so much. I love MvC and man, this is an abomination.

Do not waste your money go with Injustice 2 and if you already have it stick with that.

Skip this game is a miss don't waste your money but something else

This game was hyped up for NOTHING! It’s GOD AWFUL!!!

I had no intention of leaving a review but noted that the average score here is somehow 4.3 or 4.4? This game is certainly not that. As a fan of the franchise since MvC2 I'd say this is the worst MvC I've played, granted mostly due to the others being awesome. Gameplay is 2v2 rather than 3v3, which I suppose is really a matter of preference but I personally preferred 3v3. The graphics aren't that bad, I don't get why that's what people complain about. The real story with this game is the failure to improve over the last entry. My biggest issue with the game is that they give you a very bare bones game with very little to do really, it has elements of the old games that make it playable but the clear cash grab side of it is rough ($8 per new character or $30 for 6, this doesn't include alternate costumes either, that'd be another $30). I hate that this is where games are going now and it's hard to swallow when the game is already so much smaller than past versions. People who give this game a 1 star are going too far but 5 stars meaning its a perfect game essentially is ludicrous.

1. at $20 CHEAPEST game is going to get and with GCU sadly ending wanted to get 20% discount before expires. Brought to $16 + tax 2. the DLC characters happened to be ON SALE this week only catch was have to be PS+ member. Went ahead and took advantage because once game gets pulled from PSN / Xbox Live after marvel license expires these bonus characters will go away and you will be left with INCOMPLETE game since game only has 6 DLC characters possible but seems unlikely capcom will release a COMPLETE edition. yes I know MVC infinite deluxe edition exists HOWEVER (DLC vouchers are only good for a set period of time) game uses infinity stones which was originally used in Marvel Super Heroes. Game goes back to 2 VS 2 match ups which original MVC used well as some X-men fighting games
