First party games are the staple of these consoles and Spider-Man does just that for the PS4. Great game, well paced and fun to explore the city.

Bought as a gift for my nephew, loves the game and raves about it.

Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition is great! Very fun to easily swing from building to building and fighting the foes - some familiar, some not - is fun and dangerous as one would expect. Yuri Lowenthal is great as Spider-Man / Peter Parker. My problem is that the DLC's story isn't that great. Also, the game play of fighting wave after wave after wave of super soldiers get cumbersome and boring. The GOTY is absolutely worth buying - just lower the expectations of the DLC. Played this on the PS4 Pro with no problems.

I had to repurchase this Spider-man game with this version because this version is the game with a redeemable code (with an expiration date) with all the DLC. If you like Spider-man, then you should try this out only on the PS4

This game is gorgeous and the gameplay is tight. I am an older gamer, so the only complaint I have is button mashing combat. I have to take a break every 15 minutes or tendinitis will occur. A strong recommendation.

This is definitely a top 5 game on PS4. The game suffers a bit from UbiSoft style open-world syndrome, forced stealth sections as Mary Jane, and flat out boring sections as Peter Parker. But the combat and web swinging is so good that I can't help but overlook the game's shortcomings. The game has some great boss battles too, although I wish they were spaced out a bit more. The DLC included in the GOTY edition is pretty underwhelming, so I wouldn't bother with it unless you really can't get enough of the game.

Spider-Man is a excellent adventure game. Its packed with hours of action plus has a great story to it. Can't go wrong with marvel.

Playing this on the PS4 Pro brought back memories of playing Spider-Man on the PS One. This is by far the best Spider-Man game I have ever played. Game is the year edition includes all of the DLC. Definitely recommend this version.

If you want to feel like Spider-Man this the game for you. The swinging is amazing. Combat is awesome too. You can spend do much time in this game it is unreal. It looks very good on PS4 pro. This game is worth every penny.

I can fly between buildings, I can kick, punch, whatever I like to do in real life; however, impossible to do so because I am not spiderman and I need a lot of workouts. the overall review of the game is found on gamespot.

There's a reason this is a GOTY edition. The game is incredibly fun and graphics are still excellent so if you want to play as Spiderman while you wait for a good sale on the newer Miles Morales edition, this is the game!

Great quality and gift option for any occasion. Got it for my 9 year old for Christmas along with PS4 platform. Still plays the game to this day. Decent DLC options as well so they can still play even after initially beating the game.

This has been my first game for both ps4 and 5. Ive had a lot of fun so far. No technical issues either.

If you are a Spider-Man fan do not miss out on this game. Playing as your favorite neighborhood Spider-Man, you explore the city and fight crime. The play mode is easy enough to navigate and you get to fight all the classic Spidey Nemesis.

Good fighting, and cool story. But again another big work to run around in. I like smaller areas with more fleshed out side quests.

This was so worth playing! It was an excellent game that captured my attention from the beginning! I love stories that make you want to keep playing and waiting to see what happens next! I highly recommend getting this!

Bought it so my nephew can play it when he comes over it’s actually really fun

I like how you can be genuinely immersed in the storyline learning how to perform different actions of Spider-Man and progressing with, upgrades or you can take a relaxing swing through the city and knock out the bad guys as you go along.

Great game. Great graphics. Excellent story mode. Keeps me excited everytime I turn it on.

it has everything i was expecting and more. i spent a full weekend playing it and i still wanted to play it the next day. graphics are cool, villains too!! i has played it before with a friend so i l knew it eas worth every penny
