If you grew up playing the Spiderman movie games for the Gamecube/PS2 generation, this game provides complete freedom and open world exploration. The story is awesome and there is a ton to do. This edition which adds the DLC (as a voucher) is, as the title says, a "no-brainer" purchase if you do not yet own the game and want to experience the best Spiderman game (and one of the top PS4) games to date.

I don't know why it took me so long to willingly play this game, but a friend suggested it and it was on sale, so why not. I thoroughly enjoyed it so much more than I expected to. I've finished the story but I'm still playing - I want that 100%! Plus, it's just fun swinging around NYC and checking out the sites. Worth the play. I'm ready to play the Miles Morales version now!

I’ve haven’t played for very long but so far it’s been really fun. The graphics are great and the story is engaging. Swinging through New York as Spidey is amazing!

Great value, especially if you can get it at under $20. The web-swinging, crime-fighting action is great. The DLC is a nice extra if you found the main game fun, but are not necessary to play through. The main story however is engaging and I love how Insomniac studios was able to make their own Spider-verse that is original and works well even with the better known MCU Spider-man out there.

This game dives you deep into the Marvel comics universe with iconic Spider-Man villains and characters. The web swinging feature feels real and you can see iconic New York City landmarks. The fighting mechanics are simple to learn yet challenging enough to make you think. You can even upgrade suits for new abilities. I highly recommend to anyone who likes Spider-Man.

This has been one of the best single-player experiences, I have played in a while. The controls have a learning curve, but are fluid once you get the hang of it, the game play is fun, albeit a bit repetitive. The storyline is fleshed out, much more than I had anticipated & also well written. & there are some really cool Easter eggs throughout. Fantastic Experience.

Great game, graphics are amazing, easy controls and great story/plot

I bought this PS4 game for my PS5 and it plays amazingly. There are alot of controls to remember to become a master, but its still very neighborhood friendly offering you ways to conplete goals even if you messed up the first time.

This game does an amazing job of making you feel like Spiderman. The web slinging through the coty is perfect, letting you feel in total control. The combat is a faster more nimble version of the Batman Arkham combat. Plus the story is surprisingly good. It’s excellently presented and does its own twist on some classic Spiderman stories and characters.

Imagine the best Spider-Man movie you've seen, this game is that multiplied by ten. Great combat, traversal, and story, this game has it all. You truly feel like you're Spider-Man while playing this. I've haven't had this much fun playing a Spider-Man game in over a decade. It's a must buy if you are a fan of Spider-Man even casually or of open world games in general.

I've played for 2 days and it is loads of fun. Easy controls with a quick first mission of to do this click this button. Love the options to upgrade the stats that I wanted and when I wanted them. Like the bonus points you can get by completing a objective a certain way. Multiple spidey costumes that can be unlocked. Lots of game play and lots of swinging by a web

If you love Spiderman, a open-world game with plenty of action, and things to do in it, then get this game. The last game I played for hours like this was Horizon Zero Dawn, another Playstation exclusive. I am still playing it, not rushing to finish it either because I am doing all the side missions because of how much fun it. This is a must have for any PS4 owner.

Very submersive and entertaining story and I highly enjoyed playing the game. In my opinion, it is up to par to a Spiderman movie. I’ll be honest and state that side missions can be repetitive and become boring after a while; but if you are able to get past that, you will find yourself in a very immersive world that is very well worth the play through.

Ah, this really brings me back! If you ever played any of the Spiderman games from the movies 1, 2 or 3 on the previous game consoles (in my case PS3 and Xbox) then you will be brought back to a sense of nostalgia. Not to mention, the graphics are done so well! It is a must for any Spiderman fan. The way that you can swing from building to building is so much fun.

I just recently picked up this version of Spider-Man after regretting not getting it last year during the 2018 Black Friday Bundle. I am glad I waited because I got it for 2019's Black Friday at $15 and for the price, the game plus DLC is unbeatable. The game is challenging, has great graphics, and an awesome story. I absolutely recommend this if you have a PS4.

I already had the standard version of this game. It had went on sale for a value of $19.99 before and is very enjoyable. This being the "Game of the Year" edition include an additional DLC usually sold separately for also $19.99. It was a no brainer to pick this version up for $14.99 on Black Friday weekend. Such a wonderful game plus an added bonus? SCORE!!

Yes I said it. Best spiderman game ever. There are a few gripes I have about it. The swinging isn't perfect but it isn't the worst. Some of the extra side quests are repetitive like the birds u have to chase which is annoying. The fighting and story shines. I love it and with the extra content it's worth the purchase especially at 19.99. You can't go wrong!

This game is straight up fire. Great graphics, great storyline, great action, great moves. This game has it all. You will not be disappointed. I can I get my son to quit playing this game.

Insomiac blew it out of the park with this one. Im going to be honest there was a fast travel system and I never used it because swinging around the city was so much fun. the skins are an awesome throwback and have cool abilities with them. The story is great and creates an amazing spider-man story that fans and newcomers would love.
