Insomiac blew it out of the park with this one. Im going to be honest there was a fast travel system and I never used it because swinging around the city was so much fun. the skins are an awesome throwback and have cool abilities with them. The story is great and creates an amazing spider-man story that fans and newcomers would love.

It's a great game with a ton to do, you can spend a lot of hours unlocking everything.

Swinging through the New York City skyline has never felt more amazing. The storyline, the action, the gameplay, the controllers, the DLC, this game has everything I love in video games. The replayability high. You’ll spend countless hours just swinging and having tons of fun.

This game is straight up fire. Great graphics, great storyline, great action, great moves. This game has it all. You will not be disappointed. I can I get my son to quit playing this game.

Open world, great story, smooth game play, and all the DLC

Wow...just wow. This is a new twist on Spider-Man, but it also ties into the characters from the new Spider-Man movies. The controls are intuitive, the fighting is fantastic, the stealth is exhilarating. This game all around is fantastic and the graphics top it off! Definitely worth it even for people not super into Spider-Man.

I bought this when it was on sale so I could play this before Miles Morales, and wow, I love this game. One of the best games that I've ever played and it kept me entranced. It was a nice change of pace from other open-world games getting to travel by flying around as opposed to by car or by horse.

This game finally got the mechanics right in terms of being a superhero. Swinging through Manhattan is SUPER AMAZING!!!! The fighting style is like Arkham games - you start off with basic moves and eventually you are kicking 40 guys butt like childs play. I still enjoy this game to this day. If you own a PS4, YOU NEED THIS GAME!!!!!

Fantastic game! One of favorite superhero games right before Batman: Arkham Asylum and easily the best Spiderman game I've played so far (haven't gotten the sequel yet). Visually it's beautiful, exploration feels interesting, the gameplay is fluid, story is engaging, and the voice acting is superb. : )

I'll start this off with I am not a big super hero fan let alone spider-man. But this game is something else, they nailed the webslinging and traveling around the city. Speaking of the city, it is gorgeous. It's a great open world action game, including experience, leveling up, skills, armors and mods. Great story to go along!

One of the best games i have ever played its gameplay is unique and sometimes very challenging depending on your difficulty, while the story and cutscenes feeling like im watching a spiderman movie a very good one at that. This is the definitive ps4 game in my opinion and a must buy and must try if you have a ps4 or dont.

My son already got the original edition last year. He loved it, quickly one of his favorite games of the year. ...I can see why they now released an actual "Game of the Year" edition. The game itself has terrific graphics and a good storyline; I know my son will be so surprised this Christmas to see they've re-released it.

Spider-Man will have you feeling so cool swinging around New York. The fighting is challenging and the story is great. If you don’t know anything about Spider-Man you will still enjoy the game. If you know a lot about Spider-Man the game throws all sorts of Easter eggs at you. Great for kids and adults. Overall great game

I've grown up admiring Spiderman especially that Marvel is part of Disney but our facorute hero has an exclusive is absolutely amazing. Incredible graphics, gameplay, and story.

This is honestly such a fun game! It's easy to pick up on the controls, but there are many more unlockable moves and abilities as you progress through the game. Many side missions as well, so you never really feel bored. Graphics look absolutely amazing, and the story is also really great. Would definitely recommend!

Really makes you feel like Spider-Man. Traveling around the city is flashy and fun. Beating up bad guys is simple yet satisfying. The slow Mary Jane segments and lazy puzzles are boring. But ignore those, because you get to be Spider-Man for 90% of the game, and that is what you will buy this for. Great story too.

This truly feels like a great Spider-man game even though it borrows heavily from the Batman Arkham games(no complaints here since those games are great!). Swinging across NYC feels great and trying out Spidey's different outfits are a treat. For this GOTY at $20, it's definitely worth a buy!

This was my first play station game and honestly im glad it was. The graphics and story are perfect for people who play solo.
