First off the graphics are amazing and I can see why it won game of the year. The game itself is a lot of fun with a really good story line and a bunch of side missions and activities that will keep you busy for a long time. It is totally worth the playing time and I feel like my money is well spent.

This was the first game I purchased for my PS4, and I absolutely love it! The PS4 is the first PlayStation I have owned since the PS2, and even back then the old Spider-Man games were some of my favorite things to play. This a very nice and refreshing game, with a great story and great gameplay.

I see why this was the game of the year. The storyline is great and it almost has an "Open World" feel to it........meaning that you can do much more than the storyline! If you are a Marvel fan, this is definitely a game worth playing! You won't be disappointed

I purchased Spider-Man back when it was released over a year ago. And man, did I have SO much fun with it! I explored every inch of New York and did every side quest. I Platinumed the trophy list and then gave my copy to a friend. Then came the Game of the Year edition which has all-new stories. I purchased this edition because the price was too sweet to pass up. Whether this is your first time playing the game or if you're returning as I have, you're going to marvel at the mechanics and the visuals that Insomniac has made. You will also be anxious for the sequel that will be coming to the PS5 in a couple of years. Not since Batman Arkham City have I been this impressed with a comic book based game. I think you will be equally impressed.

This is one of the best games I have played on the PS4. The ability to roam around New York City as Spider-Man is neat. You get to fight several of Spider-Man’s enemies, and just when you think you know what’s going to happen there is another surprise twist. Highly recommended!

Great fluid combat, swinging through Manhattan is always fun, the side missions are just as enjoyable as the main story, and this is the best written version of Peter Parker to date. If you’re buying a PS4 for the first time, I’d highly recommend this as a first game purchase.

Bought this game and started playing it and when I tell you I have never had so much fun playing a game. This game was amazing mission after mission the story got better and better I 100% recommend this to anyone who hasn’t played it yet

Keep the hits coming on the PS4. Fantasic fun and they nailed the experience. Zipping through the city is just like we all imagined it would be. Combat is exciting, graphics are superb, and the story is pretty good. The dlc keeps the story going.

Really wonderful game with great gameplay. It's not especially difficult though. I platinumed it fairly quickly on the hard difficulty. But I enjoyed it enough to platinum, so the difficulty isn't such a negative.

Great game overall. The graphics and story make this game worth it. Although the game says ps4/ps5 it does not mean you will get the ps5 version when playing ina PS5 which is a downer. Overall great.

Spider-Man PS4 is the best Spider-Man story put to any screen yet. Seamlessly managing to create an emotionally gutting story while riding high on the character's signature joys, the gameplay matches the game's narrative with fast-paced action and fluid cinematic action.

this is probably one of the best spiderman games I've played. the story is great and the gameplay is very good. the amount of detail the developers put into this game is amazing! from costumes to villains if you're a spiderman fan this game is a must have in my opinion.

Finally took the plunge on a ps4! Spider man story is great, kept me playing for hours just wanting to see the rest if the story. I played spider man games from the Gamecube days.. follow similar styles of combats.. lots of city web slinging

My 13 year old has been asking for this game for a while now and I got for him this Xmas. He loved the the game, graphics, story, playability was all on point.

As in the title, I am not putting cap in the review. This is the best feeling Spider-Man game I have played. I loved swinging around New York City.

This game is all I wanted a PS4 for and I'm glad I've been able to play it. It is really simple to learn the controls and combat while advancing your moves gradually to the point where you have a large array of weapons and moves.

Beautiful game both in game play and visual. Story keeps everything moving along but the best part is trying to complete all the side missions, badges and achievements to unlock all of the suits. One of the best games I’ve ever played.

This game is so easy to pick up. Swinging around New York is a blast. The combat is simplistic, but you can turn it into something robust. The story is actually pretty good. The costumes do leave something to be desired. That's a small nitpick
