This is by far the best Spider-Man game I have ever played. The combat, story, voice acting and most importantly SWINGING is an absolute blast. A must have for any PS4 owners.

Spider-Man for the PS4 is probably the best Spider-Man game ever made. Granted, given the quality of previous releases, that's not saying much. But it shows that when Sony releases a game exclusive to the PS4 system, meticulous detail and love always go into the development of the game. The game is open-world and took me roughly 20 hours to complete. I didn't do all of the side quests and stuck to the main story. As someone who isn't really a fan of comic books, I loved this game. Only complaint I had was the difficulty. This title is up there with the Batman "Arkham" games developed by Rocksteady with regards to superior quality.

I'm currently 50% of my way through the game and have been enjoying it so far. The story and gameplay have been entertaining - probably the best Spider-Man game that I've played. It is a familiar game where you can definitely feel the influence of games like Infamous. That's not a bad comparison by any stretch... if you liked that type of open world gaming then Spider-Man is one for you.

This is an absolutely wonderful take on the webhead. There are some busy-work-quests, and the drone challenges are annoying (to me), but overall I really, really loved this game. I did end up trading it in immediately after 100%ing it, but you should definitely invest the time in completing it. I only opted out of getting the DLC because, at the end of the game, there's really nothing left to do but swing around and stop the same 5-6 crimes over, and over, and over. BUT. That swinging. Easily the best swinging of any Spidey game to date, and good enough that I didn't mind doing the busy-work just to get to keep launching around.

This game is super fantastic. The game play is a 4 out of 5, the hardest part is when you run horizontally or swing and run into a building when your chasing something around a corner. It's still fun game play! The story is 5 out of 5. Love the characters they got to play everyone. My fav is def the actor playing Peter and May. The villains are so cool and it's a challenge to fight them. Love the challenges and his powers and gadgets. I can't wait for the DLC to come out. Excited to see where they go next. The story, for real though....that was a grade a ending but they should have given more to the character I am talking about.

Best Spider-Man game released. It can get repetitive at times, but a good story and solid controls make for a fun game. Open world type, lots of easter eggs, and boss battles.

Sony does it again. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back. Web swinging is spot on, combat is great, and the story is fantastic. No brainer if it's on sale.

The swinging and combat are amazing, it just never gets old. The story feels like something that could have been its own arc in the comics and the visuals are outstanding.

Game offers a straightforward and rewarding experience. The main storyline holds your attention and has a nice sense of urgency that makes you want to keep playing. For shorter play sessions, there is a large number of one-off side missions and challenges to complete. You could also just enjoy swinging through the really gorgeous version of NYC in the game. The controls are great, power progression is straightforward, there is not a lot of gear-juggling. The game really lets you just play it without managing a million things. Easy to set down for a week and come back to. Highly recommended!

This game nails what it means to be Spider-Man. From the excellent combat, to the solid story to the amazing web slinging, this game is a perfect representation of the hero.

This game is a must buy along with most of the Sony Exclusives. Good story, awesome graphics and controls, the variety of costumes is pretty cool too. Highly recommended!

Amazing...Spectacular... It’s a great open world city crawler where Webs and Kicks fly. Several suit and power options make for a great play. Also a fun story to follow.

Most Spider-Man games up to this point have not been very good, with the only exception being just the swinging mechanics from the game version of the movie Spider Man 2. Leading up to the release of this game, no one was paying attention to anything else but the swinging, and Insomniac knocked it out of the park. It's not the only thing they got right. The story is compelling and well acted and written, and the combat is very fluid and fun in a way that improves on the counter-based Batman: Arkham Asylum style combat. Highly highly recommended.

This game is a great game. It has outstanding graphics and gameplay, and web swinging mechanics are very good. It also has a great story with interesting characters.

Insomniac's first take on a well known Marvel character was truly magnificent! From the details to the gameplay and even its original storyline. Despite some minor bugs here and there, repetitive side missions, I sincerely commend Insomniac Games for there take of Spider-Man. The story was excellent although there were slight pacing issues which may be personal preference, but the gameplay. Woah! I love the way Peter Parker was implemented into the story and even Spidey's gadgets! Overall an amazing game and is a must buy for the Spider-Man fans seeking a jaw dropping, TRUE SPIDER-MAN EXPERIENCE!!!

A Spider-Man game finally worth the purchase. Great story, great graphics and most of all the web swinging is so fun. You will want to swing through the whole city.

This is the Spider-Man game you have waited for your whole life. I could spend hours alone swinging, combat is great, and the story is great, if a bit predictable.

Such an amazing balance storyline between Peter Parker and Spider-Man. The action is non-stop and web swinging has never been so fun! A must have for marvel fans!
