Amazing looking game with a huge open world, big story, lots of villains, and deep combat. Not every little open-world activity is fun, but overall a great time.

Its a bit similar to the Batman games but SO MUCH MORE! Graphics and story are great as well as just free roaming in the open world plus great background music!!

Hands down the the best Spider-man game I’ve played. The feel of web swinging is amazing. The combat is fun and intuitive. The story and characters are great.

This is hands down one of the most amazing games I have ever played. The controls are smooth, I enjoyed the story, and the visuals on the pro are mindblowing.

This game is definitely one to add to your PS4 library! I've been playing it on my PS4 Slim, and it looks Amazing! The combat is fluid and fun, and you can be very creative in how you approach enemies. Web slinging in New York never feels dull and it offers a huge playground to play in. Your can tailor how YOU like to play to become YOUR Ultimate Spider-Man! The story is Spectacular in its narrative, and that keeps you engaged throughout. There's a lot of content in the base game to keep yourself occupied, especially with DLC on their way this year! Loved it from start to finish 10/10.

If you have a PlayStation 4 Console, this is a game that you must have. Everything about this game far exceeded my expectations. The graphics are extremely impressive, the web slinging is fantastic, and the tasks that in other video games appeared to be repetitive, are not repetitive at all because you are having so much fun playing as spider man. I have seen nothing but good reviews about this game and I will continue the trend. If you are not desperate to play this game then you can probably wait until the price comes down and once it does, this game is a must have! ENJOY

Wow, Insomniac did an amazing job with this game. The graphics, the gameplay, the story and voice acting are top notch. Web swinging is amazing!!! I love it!

So I have only played it for a little bit but this game is awesome. It has the batman fighting style with great open world and web slinging action.

This is a must have Game. Could even be Game of the year but we still gotta see how the upcoming ones are before giving this title but with that being said you should know by this review and this review only that this Spider-Man game is no joke!! Great feel to it like the Batman Games. The fighting and swinging is something you can’t get enough of and trust me when I tell you this.... put a Timer on because if you don’t youll get lost in Spider-Man’s world and realize that When you turned on the system to play in the morning once you stopped it is already Night time.

The story and characters are great. The openworld is fun. The side missions are a bit lacking but, they only add to the experience. They don't take way.

In terms of game design, there's nothing really groundbreaking here, compared to games like Batman's Arkham series or the Middle Earth Shadow games. But everything is just done so well in this game. Swinging around the city as Spiderman is so much fun that I often chose to take my time doing so rather than use fast travel. Combat is fluid and intuitive, and gives you plenty of options for how you want to approach any given situation. On top of that, the story is fun too. Everything just feels right. Definitely looking forward to the DLCs and hopefully a sequel.

What can I say about this game. It is practically perfect. Such a fluid, well paced action adventure game. This is absolutely the best Spiderman game I've ever played. The graphics are on point, you get to choose from many different costumes and variations of moves. Well done story with some compelling villains and a great setup for the sequel. You can't go wrong. I don't simply suggest you get this game. It's a MUST HAVE. If you haven't played this yet. You need to.

This game has it all rpg elements, huge open world to explore! The combat is exhilarating! The story is compelling. Nuff said you have to get it!

This is such a great game. Hours of a gameplay. Nothing that feels similar as far as story missions and side missions, so you won’t feel like you’re running in circle. Graphics are incredible. Story is unique and fun. The crazy part: it seems marvel could be building a game universe similar to their movie universe. I’m not sure other heroes would make for as interesting of a game’s title character, but if they’re even half as good as this game they’d still provide hours of entertainment. Buy a ps4 just to be able to play this game. You won’t regret it.

While it sometimes feels more like a spiritual sequel/successor to the Batman Arkham games, Spider-Man builds on that formula to create a uniquely-fantastic super hero game. This game has a great Spider-Man story (and we don't have to go through how Peter became Spidey!) fantastic graphics, and most important of all, spot-on controls. Swinging through NYC couldn't be easier and more fun. Add in all the combat moves, gadgets, and costumes, and you've got a serious contender for Game of the Year. Totally worth a purchase. Can't wait for a sequel.

Whether you’re a fan of comics, the movies, or just enjoy an amazing action adventure game with a huge open world, Spider-Man is the best game out there. A huge, expansive, & detailed map that evolves & changes as you move further into the games story, spot on combat mechanics, & a story that keeps you on the edge of you seat from start to finish, this game is a love letter to Spider-Man. The DLC is also a must have, continuing the story & adding more to an already complete game. This is a must buy & must play for anyone who owns a PS4!

This is the best Spider-Man game ever created. The freedom and control while swinging through the city is incredible and the combat system is fun and engaging. On top of that the story is presented quite well. The only negatives I can think of are the few missions in which you are forced to play other characters in stealthy scenarios. While they offer some gameplay variety, the gameplay they offer is annoying and on the whole it really ruins the pacing of the game.

The game scratches that itch we've had since Spiderman 2 came out back on the PS2/GC/XBOX. The story is fantastic and the performances of all the voice actors are phenomenal. The ending is a tear jerker and Yuri Lowenthal killed it as Peter Parker. The Fighting mechanics are reminiscences of the Batman Arkham series, but it works perfectly for Spider-Man. The Web Swinging through Manhattan is pure joy and fun, I could spend hours just doing that. All in all, an amazing game, amazing story, lots of fun and can't wait for the DLC stories to drop.

A must-have game. Sony still owns Spider-Man (although I'd rather see it in Disney/Marvel's hands), but at least they cherish him and give him the red carpet treatment. Incredible fight mechanics, beautiful map of New York city, cool unlockable gadgets & suits, and a great story. The DLC is highly recommended as well. Thank Batman Arkham Asylum for its influence on character controls and story telling. Web- singing through the city is an amazing experience.
