It's been a few years since I have played a Spiderman game and this is number 1 on my list, they have nailed what it feels like to be Spiderman and how fluid the combat feels makes for a really fun game. I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail in recreating New York and how seamless it is to web swing throughout the city. I recommend this game to anyone that wants to play a fun game with a good story, I'm looking to buy the sequel when it comes out.

Every PS4 owner needs to own this game. I have the tendency to compare games and if you have played the Batman Arkham series, you will definitely enjoy Spider-Man. The story and gameplay will keep you playing for hours. Similar to Batman, you gain several gadgets throughout the story but I feel most players will only use two or three. I bought the season pass, which includes three story add-ons, because I am looking forward to playing as Spider-Man some more.

The game is amazing, web slinging around the city feels great, combat is solid and the story is good.

The best thing you can say is that you really feel like the hero you are playing in a superhero game and you can truly say that about this game. The web slinging is easy to start but hard to master, much like the combat, which keeps it rewarding. The sense of scale in the city is incredible. Peter's inner dialogue and quippy retorts are great, but not annoyingly ever-present. The combat lets you be creative. I really have nothing bad to say about this game.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE, THE HYPE IS REAL FOR THIS GAME! EASILY THE BEST SPIDER-MAN GAME EVER MADE (ALONG WITH THE ONE FROM WAYYYY BACK IN 2004). THE WEB SLINGING IS SO SATISFYING, AND AS YOU PROGRESS IN THE GAME, YOU CAN DEFINITELY UNLOCK ACROBATIC MOVES WHILE SWINGING. IT ALSO HAS AN ENGAGING STORY. A LITTLE BUMMED OUT THAT VENOM DOESN'T MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN THE GAME; ONE CAN ONLY HOPE HE SHOWS UP IN THE SEQUEL. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PERFECT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If you have ever wanted to play a game where you actually feel like a super hero, then this is the game. You control Spider-man and you actually feel like him while swinging and fighting. The game is phenomenal and has a fantastic story. There are lots of nods for fans who read the comics as well as various costumes. This is the game to beat in 2018 and it'll definitely be one that will be hard to top. A mist have for spider-man fans and ps4 owners.

This game is a ton of fun. If you played Spiderman 2 for PS2, this is a great blast from the past. I loved this game- I played it so much, my only complaint that it felt too short, and that the combat felt a little easy for the hardest difficulty. It was a lot of fun and very intuitive. Everything about this game is top notch, from the voice acting to the cutscenes to the fun combat. If you liked the Batman games, you'll like this Beat 'Em Up also.

This game was one of my favorite games to play last year. God of War is right next to this game for Game of the year! The graphics are AMAZING, story and plots are sooo interesting and smooth transitions from movie clips and game modes. Not since the Batman series has there been a comic book video game with the complete package of details, graphics, story and villians to keep you on a cliffhanger. Recommend to any Spidey fan!! Must buy!

I heard all the buzz ahead of time, how amazing this game is. My expectations were very high. After purchasing this game, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I began playing the game and immediately was amazed by the graphics and how realistic the action was. I have played this game now many, many hours and it’s just an amazing gaming experience each and every time. I highly recommend this game. What an Amazing (Spider Man) Experience!

This is a fantastic recreation of the Spider-Man universe. Hopefully they come out with a sequel.

I really like this game, the story the graphics the controls are all great. You wont be disapointed.

Insomniac has knocked it out of the park with Spider-Man for Sony’s PlayStation 4! The game runs at an amazing frame rate, has top notch sound and quality voice acting. The graphics are incredible and the minute details really shine. The gameplay is tight and the fighting tears a page out of the Batman Arkham games complete with a Spider-Man twist. Batman was a slow moving and imposing figure in the Arkham series whereas Spidey is incredibly light and agile but still manages to handle himself perfectly well when surrounded by a group of enemies. While traversing the city by swinging and doing death defying acrobatic flips in between buildings at 100 feet in the air, I often stopped to look at the city below me and admired what I saw. NPC’s going about their busy lives, cars in traffic jams trying to get to their destinations and bad guys trying to stir up trouble. You are Spider-Man. Here to protect civilians from dangers they can’t even comprehend. If you enjoy Spider-Man and happen to own a PlayStation 4 then you owe it to yourself to give this game a chance. It’s another home run for Sony’s eclectic catalog of exclusives worth purchasing the console for.

If your fan of Spider-man, you will like this type of game. The campaign is one of the best I've played of Spider-man. There is also side missions and other activities you can do in the game besides the campaign. I spend a lot of time exploring the city and doing side activities. I like the upgrades, costumes, and mini games to upgrade the abilities of Spider-man. The game looks graphically awesome on the PS4 Pro. Definitely, worth a buy.

It can't be stated enough, this game is so much fun! The swinging mechanics are great, reminiscent of spider-man 2. The combat is tight and simple with enough variety much like the Arkham series. The story is superb with great twists and turns. And finally the graphics are beautiful especially on a HDR TV. If you are hungry for a game then get it now. If your log is backed up then wait for the inevitable complete edition with all the DLC.

The game delivers in story and action. Beautiful graphics. Def a forward movement for this franchise.

Other than GOW, I haven't played a game that had me hooked this hard in a long time and I'm a hardcore gamer. The game play is tons of fun (especially the web swinging) and the story is pretty long and keeps you very interested to whole way through. Absolutely loved the voice actor for Peter Parker. Not to mention upcoming dlc in the next 3 months for extended play. Definitely getting your money's worth with this game and a must buy.

Spider-Man on the PS4 is everything you would expect. Swinging through the city, fighting criminals, agile web-swinging and combat. Lots of fun. Plenty of story - almost feels like you're watching a Spider-Man movie at times! Also has plenty of Easter eggs throughout the game that feature other characters from the Marvel Universe. If they make more [Marvel] games like THIS that connect story-wise, RIP my wallet. Highly recommended.

The best game of the year in my opinion. Second best superhero game with Arkham City as the best.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like it. I'm not a huge Spider-Man fan, however this definitely changes things. This is what Spider-Man movies should be like. It was so much fun, the combat was great, and the story was good too. I played this on an original PS4 and it performed great! My only complaints is that it's kind of short, some of the open world crimes can be kind of repetitive, but this is pretty minor as the combat is fun.

I'm a big Spider-Man fan and I have to say that the feeling I got playing this game is unmatched. It is the best Spider-Man game to date with great graphics, fighting and a story that captures what it really means to be Spider-Man, complete with some familiar tones but the added ones are great. It can grow a bit repetitive but the bonus missions, side quests and collectables keep you interested. Great game!
