This is a beautiful game. The story is really engrossing, and the action is great.

great game all around. very immersive. the story is quite long and gets more interesting as the game goes on. this game makes me want to actually complete the game 100% if you like batman arkham city then you will like this game because the combat is basically stolen right from it. the progression system is unique and the suits all come with a satisfying look and crazy new gadgets. buy this game

The DLC and the inevitable sequel definitely need a stronger effort. The combat is great but the boss fights could be much better. I also expected a full map of Manhattan - this one was slightly squashed.

So much web slinging packed in to this incredibly fun game and well written story. Combat is so much fun with skill tree upgrades and unlockable suits for Spider-Man give this game extra umph. So many side quests and mini games to keep you enticed in the beautiful landscape of NYC!!!! A near perfect experience on PS4. Fans of Assassins Creed, GTA and the Batman games will love this!!!

Came in concerned since it has been a while since we had a good Spiderman game. I am glad it was for nothing, because this game is great. Combat is fluid(think Batman Arkham) and the open world is great with a lot of attention to detail. Game takes about 20 hours to beat if you go straight through, took me about 30 hours because I did a bunch of side stuff and also explored some. Well worth it.

Such a good game. Plenty of things to do in between a great story that feels like your playing a movie from the Marvel cinematic universe. There is plenty of back story to be found with collectables as well. It's very refreshing in the fact that they skip the origin story this time around and focus on a more experienced Peter Parker. Overall great game worth adding to anyone's game collection.

As cliche as it sounds, this game does a fantastic job of making you feel like Spider-Man. There's a meaningful story, and engaging enough combat that it kept me going all the way until the platinum trophy. If I had any complaints they would be that some of the tasks get repetitive when going for platinum (crimes, hideouts, etc.) A must have for any Spider-Man fan that owns a PS4

That should tell you all you need to know, if you are at all familiar with how Batman's Arkham series is looked at in the gaming community. Insomniac pulled it off. To be honest, this game doesn't do anything particularly new with its open world. However the fact that it is all done WELL, and that you are doing it all as Spider-Man makes up for it all. Amazing foundation for a sequel.

If you're a Spiderman fan and played the old games that came out for past generations, you'll love this one. It's all we look for in a superhero game, good story, good gameplay and challenging enemies; if any, all I would complain about is the extra tasks and challenges that are too many and very tedious but general is a very good game.

Another PS4 exclusive, this one backed by Sony and Marvel. The gameplay is phenomenal even though it may take some queues from other super hero games...Arkham..cough cough. It has been tweaked though to feel like Spider-Man and after unlocking abilities and gadgets gets pretty deep. Combined with web swinging that will have you moving in your seat its so good its as close to being Peter Parker you can get without becoming a pizza delivery man and risking an attack from your crippling arachnophobia. The story is great even if it does differ from the comics. Even if that does upset some die hard fans don't worry there is plenty of fan service for not just Spidey fans but Marvel in general. Only issue is that it is extremely short. Another game that fell victim to the DLC cash grab, but an enjoyable experience.

One of the best superhero video game of all time. This game is everything that the Spider-man 2 video game should be and more. No other game captures the feeling of swinging through the dynamic skyline of new york city better. Story is great, graphics amazing, open world, combat makes you feel powerful with plenty of web skills. Boss battles are exciting. A must buy!

This game is like controlling a movie! A completely original story with characters you know and some new ones as well. It's starts off with an epic mission and boss battle with Fisk! And that's how it starts. I feel bad for my X-Box friends who can't play this awesome game. The graphics are soooo cool and you can pick your level of involvement. Games have come so far from Pong! LOL

For years I've been waiting and wanting a spider-man game, and it finally happened. You're still playing as peter parker with him being older. It's an open world game like many others out there, but you'll enjoy, the first hours you'll be getting use to the combat. It's not difficult, just different, the story is pretty good as well. Also, this is 100% exclusive to the PS4.

This is one of the best video games I've ever played. It's certainly the best Spider-Man game ever made, and quite possibly the best Spider-Man MOVIE ever made. The combination of excellent, near flawless gameplay, and an Amazing story, along with fun side missions to mix it up a bit, make this a must-play. I'm looking forward to the expansion to get more action with this game.

Is Imsomniac capable of making a bad videogame? At this point I really don't think so. From a graphics, and gameplay standpoint I have not seen a better superhero game before. The story is great the combat system is very fluid and fun, and the webslinging is amazing. All of the different side activities, and main missions lead to a triple A experience you do not want to miss.
