This game does a lot right, but most of all is the swinging. It hugely improves the immersion and overall experience. It feels great, looks good, and rewards you for paying attention. It's easily my favorite part of the game. The gadgets and combat remind me of the Arkham Knight series- it's fluid and fun. A must-play if you ever liked the Spider-Man or Arkham Knight games.

Great story, gameplay. Cutscenes are fantastic and controls are great too.

Hands down this is the best Spider-man game that has ever been created!!! If you loved the gameplay, graphics, story and fun factor of the Batman Arkham games made by Rocksteady, you’ll love this game that was made by Insomniac Games. The combat is fluid, the skills, gadgets and suit upgrades are phenomenal. Definitely, buy this game you won’t regret it. Instant classic!!!

Hands down the best Spider-Man game made today. I could swing around in the game for hours, its really therapeutic. Game play is so fun, doing air combo, using gadgets, throwing objects or humans at your enemies and the list goes on. Story line is so good, I got watery eyed towards the end, can't wait for part 2. This is the Spider-Man game we all deserve to have and play.

Best Spider-man game of all time! Which is saying something, considering how many good ones that Activision have put out. Controls amazing. Good, emotional story. It's certainly NOT perfect (The MJ missions, a good bit of the side missions) But, the story and gameplay still give it a 5 star in itself. Oh! And it's a GORGEOUS GAME!

Where to even begin with this game. To say it’s a good game would be selling it short. If you are looking for an open world opportunity to web sling through New York as spidey, then look no further. The gameplay, the mechanics, the story are all amazing. There is one downside though, once you finish the game you may feel a sadness inside. Would highly recommend this game!

This game has an amazing story and is one of the few games where I have a real desire to 100% it. You truly feel like Spiderman swinging around the city, the collectables are worthwhile, and the story is impactful. My only gripe is there are a few stealth missions where you play as side characters, but they're short so it doesn't take away from the experience as a whole.

The open world format is a very familiar formula at this point. Whether playing in Spiderman's Manhattan or the world of Infamous, it is all basically the same. This game shines through, however, through its mobility and combat. By the time you complete the secondary tasks you will have traversed Manhattan a dozen times. It would a tedious adventure if the mobility wasn't so perfect and fast. Spiderman can get from one end of the map to the other quickly, and enjoyably. Where Spiderman really shines is through its combat. There are so many moves to learn and master, but once it all comes together beating up the hordes of bad guys becomes fluid and fun. It is a lot like the Arkham games, but with more possibilities. I really enjoy this game.

They did a great job with the game, the characters and the story. This was a lot of fun to play though and was worth the time to 100% it. Really enjoyed the world and how I got around in it along with all the gadgets, sub plots, and memorable cast of characters and villains. Definitely worth adding to your collection even if Spidey isn't your favorite web crawler.

Fun game good graphic on the ps4 lots of action good control

This is seriously the best Spider-Man game. It's like playing a movie. The graphics are gorgeous. New York City looks stunning when you're webbing to go place to place. I love how the music changes when you go from walking in the city to all of a sudden webbing around, it's like a movie. The gameplay is great and the story is very good too. Highly recommend it.

This is an amazing game. The story kept me invested, but how many hours did I spend just swinging around NYC? The animation was breathtaking (insert keanu Reeves gif here). Combat addictive. Only 10-15 hour campaign, which is a really nice pallet cleanser between the 100+ hr RPGs. If you have a PS4, do yourself a favor and buy this game.

I heard a lot of hype about this game and watching gameplay myself I thought it just looked alright. Upon playing it though, the combat feels very satisfyingly and web zipping through New York was extremely fun. The game definitely met all the high praise it received.

This is the Spider-Man game that took everything about one of the best Spider-Man games up until now (Spider-Man 2) and improved it in every way possible. The combat, swinging and suits available for Spider-Man along with the level progression throughout the game make this not only the best Spider-Man game, but definitely one of the best super hero games ever.

Great game. The city of Manhattan actually feels alive and real. The graphics are nicely done as displayed when fights take place. Costumes are very well done each with unique and very awesome powers. Voice talent and voice overs are very good. Story itself is solid. Boss fights aren't amazing but they get the job done to keep you interested.

This game is amazing. I wouldn't even debate on picking it up. Finally a game that the developer spent time on and did everything right(Graphics, Game play, Story). All amazing and the game comes with no bugs like every other game out there that need 100 patches. This company did so good with this game I'm happy to support them with any DLC that comes out.

What can be said about a possible GOTY? There's a reason Spider Man had received the praise it has so far. Gameplay makes you feel like you're the wall crawler and the story is deep. Characters aren't one dimensional and you actually feel for some of the "villains". With DLC coming out and more on the horizon there is much to love about this instant classic.

Spider-Man PS4 is the Spider-Man game that fans have been waiting for. Insomniac really nails the feeling of what I means to be the wall crawling, web swinging, joke cracking hero that many of us know and love. If you remember what Rocksteady did for Batman then you will feel right at home with what Insomniac has done for Spider-Man. A must own game!
