This game has a great story in an open world setting. Stick to the story if you want or just spend hours swinging through a beautiful rendering of NYC. Lots to do besides the main story. Take photographs on NYC landmarks, find Peter’s backpacks that he previously stashed around town, random crimes. This game is fan-freaking tastic!

Best Spider-Man game since Shattered Dimensions. Love the story of Peter and MJ, it feels like there is a real post breakup relationship with them. Aunt May is no old lady in this spidey verse. Miles Morales also has a good b-line story. But the best part is you feel like you are in New York being Spider-Man swinging and webbing bad guys.

Graphics, story and controls make this game a must have.

This is possibly the most fun I’ve had with a video game in a very long time. This is a bit different from my usual game choices (Horizon, Tomb Raider...) and I’m so glad I gave it a try! This game is AMAZING! Fun and entertaining right from the start... great graphics, nice controls, excellent experience moving around the city! Get it!

Recently finished playing this game and boy was I impressed. From the graphics to the gameplay, the game does not disappoint. It’s witty and fun from start to finish. My only concern is that some of the missions are a little repetitive. However, I still highly recommend to Spider-Man fans and those new to the Marvel superhero scene.

This game has pleasantly surprised me. It's actually very entertaining. HAs great graphics and includes some cool characters, including your traditional villains. Only negative is that it is a but easy to get through, but easy mode is great for young children so I was able to pass this game on to my son and nephew for their enjoyment.

This game is amazing. Great story, great voice acting, great graphics, great gameplay. This is a super fun game with so much to do. Hats off to the developers, Insomniac, for not sticking anything behind a paywall, DLC, or trying to squeeze out extra money with micro-transactions. Finally you pay for a whole game. You get a whole game.

Awesome graphics, good story line and game is open world!

This is the first Spider-Man game to improve on the Web-slinging mechanics since Spider-Man 2 for the PS2/Xbox generation. That mixed with the look, style, and action the rest of the game has made, make this the best spider-man game ever made. If you don't have it, and you have a Ps4, you owe it to yourself to pick it up.

Spiderman is a great action game with awesome graphics and game play. There are also side puzzles and quests to do, as well as collectibles. The open world game is very beautiful. Fighting some of the bad guys gets repetitive though, but there are so many fighting moves you must learn, which makes it fun.

This is one of the few games where I've enjoyed doing all the side quests in the game. The web swinging is so satisfying that it's a blast to just traverse the city to get every collectible imaginable or complete every criminal fight. The story has also been great so far, though most people won't be familiar with the main villain.

This by far the best superhero game out there and I'm a big DC fan, the swinging is spot on the combat is spectacular and the combat is amazing!! The story itself is very immersive you actually care what's going on. Some minor glitches are found but nothing game breaking. Just around the corner is a new game plus update so yays!!!!

If you own a PS4, get this game now. If you don't own a PS4, get one and get this game too. Holy moly is it addictingly good. This wins my game of the year easily. Even if you're not a fan of spider man, the voice acting, gameplay, graphics, story, and literally everything will win you over. This is a super hero game done right.

Step into the shoes of the Amazing Spider-Man and swing through the streets of New York and the open environments. Interact with citizens, and stop actual crimes being committed. The graphics are STUNNING and the story of the game is pretty well done. Three levels of increasing difficulty allow you to test your super hero skills.

By far the best Spider-Man game is years! Really enjoyed the story & interactions with characters. Combat is fun & varied with different gadgets & suits. Mid/Late game is extremely repetitive though, and that's why I removed a star. Objectives & Missions that involved faction enemies were practically all the same, but with different skins on them or more enemies added. There's also random crimes where you need to stop a car. Neat at first, but after the dozenth time it gets old fast. It's the exact same thing over & over, even when they do try to spice it up by adding another vehicle behind it. With all the repetitiveness aside, it's still a game I enjoyed & worth a playthrough.

I can't say enough great things about this game. I was a big fan of the Batman Arkham games, and while combat is similar, I had much more fun swinging around the city as Spider-Man. The graphics, music, and gameplay were all awesome and complimented an awesome story. Every PS4 owner should own this masterpiece.

Spider-Man is one of the best open world games I've played in a long time. There are plenty of quests and things to do to keep you busy. Using the web to get around the city is an enjoyable treat. The fighting mechanics are similar to the Arkham series, although not quite as good. Despite that I still think the fights are fun.

This game is phenomenal. The bosses and storylines are great. There are plenty of Easter eggs for fans of various Marvel characters like Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Black Panther. The only potential negative is that faction crimes get a bit repetitive. This game is great for both fans and newcomers to the Spider-Man franchise.

The drought and disappointment has come to end . We are blessed with a legit spiderman game that looks and feels like the hero we know and love. Visuals are top notch, gameplay is fast and fluid, and free roam is the greatest gift of all. And the story is actually good too. You owe it to yourself to buy a ps4 just for this game

After hearing the reviews before release I started doubting my preorder purchase but now that I have the game and played for several hours I’m thrilled with my purchase. The graphics are amazing and the story line definitely pulls you in. If you love marvel or Spider-Man this is a no brainer purchase. You won’t be disappointed!
