You like Spider-Man? You like narrative driven games? You like taking silly pictures all over New York? Then buy this games. The pros are nearly endless and there's only two real cons. The cons: The game ends at some point (tho you can keep exploring the city and saving people) and there are a couple of stealth sections we could have gone without. 9.5/10 pls buy

You feel like Spider-Man for real. The web swinging becomes second nature quickly and the controls are responsive. Playing on a PS4 Pro and displaying on a 65" 4K screen makes the graphics the best I've ever seen on console!

I thought the game was really well put together graphics and story wise the only thing lacking to me was the time it take to complete seemed short. I work full time and was able to beat it in 2 weeks with 97% completion im at the end and there is literally nothing to do.

This is a great console exclusive! It could be if not the best Spider-Man game ever!

Well worth the wait, a lot of new options and upgrades. The only downfall that I have is that it looks as if Spidey is becoming more of a Superhero Cop!

Admittedly, I wasn't hyped for this game when I initially saw gameplay. While I love the Marvel movies and superheroes in general, when it comes to superhero games the Arkham series has my heart. Those were the most well put together superhero games in existence. Outside of the inFamous series they were the only games that truly made me feel like a superhero. Add to that the fact that I've never really been a big Spider-Man fan. When I saw the gameplay for Spider-Man, I thought "Looks like they just copied the Arkham fighting system. Meh." Months later, after seeing great reviews, personal recommendations from friends, and ultimately loving Tom Holland's take on Peter Parker in the MCU, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Insomniac's take on a Marvel-tinged New York is breathtaking. Everything is so beautifully realized. Even before I did the Landmark photography collectibles I found myself landing on a building, scaling it, then stopping and smiling when I realized it was Avengers tower. The combat, while bearing some similarities to the Arkham games is fast, fluid, and impactful. Swinging through the city using all means of web traversal was so fun that I only ever fast traveled to get the trophy connected to it. Fighting is fun. Stealth is fun. Just getting around is fun. The open world feels alive and the collectibles and activities aren't too numerous to feel overwhelming. I Platinumed this game and none of the 50+ hours it took to do so felt like a slog. Simply put, this game is just fun. And that's not even to mention the fantastic voice acting, cutscenes, and story. The game is the complete package. I'm currently working my way through New Game+ on Ultimate difficulty and already bought the DLC to get into after that. Long story short: If you like superheroes, the Marvel movies, or open world games in general, GET THIS GAME. And make sure to tell your friends. Because as the saying goes, "With great power comes great responsibility."

Great game and great story. No wonder it's one of playstation hits titles. Graphics are amazing and the open world interface is very immersive.

Marvel's Spider-Man has easily become the new means to measure all Spider-Man games by in my opinion. It does open world exploring, collectibles, combat, transversal, web-slinging, and story extremely well! The old Spider-Man 2 and Web of Shadows were my previous favorites, this has now taken their spot. The only downside is that it's a ps4 exclusive, not a problem for me, but it does lock out the xbox and pc mains out there.

It is hard to make a video game. Insanely hard. It is a task so gargantuan as to terrify even seasoned developers. That makes it nothing short of a miracle when a game even makes it to market. Making a GOOD game takes the efforts of dozens, if not hundreds of people (with rare exception). Making a GREAT game might as well be one of the Trials of Hercules. And making a Superhero game worth anything at all is akin to balancing a thousand camels on the head of a pin. So when I say that Insomniac have done the impossible, have delivered on their promises, and produced a Great Superhero game, I want you to understand my full meaning. Spider-Man is a revelation, greater than the sum of its parts and yet made of so many wonderful small bits. The graphics are gorgeous, bordering on ridiculous. The action is fun and tight, easily controllable, and non-stop. While it is by no means flawless, the minor scuffs and scratches disappear when you take in the grand scope of the title. You may see some unfair comparisons to the Arkham series of games. While the combat appears that way at first, there is far more depth and strategy required in Spider-Man than in any of Batman's adventures. A wide variety of goons keep you on your toes from the beginning to the end. For me, the most important part of any game is story. Spider-Man does not disappoint, with a brand-new adventure for the friendly neighborhood web-slinger. I honestly cannot recommend this game enough.
