One of the greatest compliments I can give to this game, and any open world game in general is that I can count on both hands how many times I used the fast travel system. In game many games of this type I would get to the point in the game where I got bored of actually travelling and would just warp to wherever I needed to. But swinging in this game is so much fun and satisfying that I never felt annoyed when my next mission was on the other side of town. The combat is very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham games, and that's not a bad thing! Its very fast and fluid, easy to learn but hard to master. With lots of gadgets to help you along the way.

The main thing in this game is slinging around the cit feels terrific and it feels like the movies. Its very satisfying. The missions are mostly entertaining, and there are small side missions that are decent, but they are mostly filler for the completionists. It has some good story scenes as well.

I was looking forward to this game for quite a while. I was worried I was a little too excited and it wouldn't live up to what I built it up to be. That's not an issue. This game checks nearly every box anyone could ask for in a video game. Graphics, story, game flow, replay ability, etc... This game has it all.

Probably one of the best PS4 experiences you can have. This game makes you truly feel like you're Spider-Man. Great narrative and scope, with fantastic voice acting and tight controls. More importantly, this game's got the swing mechanics down pat. Unbelievable game and I can't wait to see what they do next.

This is the best Spiderman game I've played so far! The gameplay is awesome & the graphics are so good! If you don't like the default suit don't worry, there are a lot of different suits to choose from. The main story is well put together as well. Plus there are a lot of side missions to complete. BUY THIS GAME!

Spiderman for the PS4 is really good. Like i would rate it at least 8/10. Prob 9/10. Swinging around NYC is fun and fluid. The combat flows together really well and is fun. The story here is also really good and emotional. The side missions are varied enough and helps pace the game. Can't wait for the sequel.

It's a game, where you get to play Spider-Man. You get to swing around an open-world New York. As Spider-Man. You get to fight bad guys too and there's a story and it's good so far but seriously, when you can spend a couple hours having fun solely moving from one point on the map to the other, it's a good thing.

I'm from NYC, and can tell you it was such a joy slinging through the Big Apple as Peter Parker in an awesome original story that brought together some of the most iconic characters of Spiderman lore, while giving a lot of depth to Peter and MJs story and the rise of Miles Morales. Amazing game! Go buy it!

Everything you hoped for a spider-man game. Web swinging through Manhattan is fluid and fun. Good amount of things to do and the game doesn't over stay its welcome with open world tasks. Fighting system is comparable to the Arkham games but falls a little short with not as much variety as batman.

I loved this game. It got above average reviews critically and I'm not sure why. It's singular in it's ability to make you feel like a butt-kick superhero that can essentially fly. I tried to explain it as a mix of the Batman Arkham games with the open world side quests of Far Cry. Any which way it's very fun.

Fun fact: Spider-Man has been my favorite superhero ever since I was a little kid. Next to the Batman Arkham series, this is the BEST comic book video game of all-time! Insomniac really hit it out of the park! Spider-Man's gameplay is deep, the world is HUGE, and swinging around town is an absolute joy!

This Insomniac offering lets you take crime fighting to all of Manhattan via third-person action, including plenty of iconic web-slinging, parkour moves and combat opportunities. I was a little worried going into it not setting my expectations too high, but the development team really delivered on this one from the incredible about of satisfaction of web slinging through new york, to the storyline and voice acting, it's a must buy for ps4 owners and an extra must for spiderman fans.

"That's Spider-Man. Black Sabbath did Iron Man." Just kidding, he's not in this game. But Avengers Tower is! Spider-Man had some great games like... 15 years ago. This is the first game since then to get good reviews and they're absolutely worth listening to. The web-swinging is great. The fighting is like an improved version of the fighting you do in the Arkham series. A lot of the crime fighting stuff DOES get repetitive as you swing around town, but if you take the time to get the bonuses from the crime fighting, you can upgrade suits and weapons, along with actual level-ups. It's also great practice for the times you have to take on fodder to get to the super-villains. I can't think of anything truly negative about the game. It's flawed, but not by anything that takes you out of the game or the excellent story. Coming back for the "City That Never Sleeps" DLC trio is an easy sell. You can beat this game and all the major side-quests in less than 30 hours if you push it. I took about 45 hours because I kept fighting crimes and exploring.

spider-Man is a fantastic action game with great movement and combat and a compelling story that's only dragged down from time to time with boring missions and QTE-based boss fights

Love this game. I can play at my own pace. There's lots to do. You can stick to the main story, go off and do side missions, or look for collectables. The fight sequences and controls are great. There is a lot of options for moves. All around a fun game to play it you're looking for something offline.

Not only is the one of the best superhero games ever made, it's just an excellent game overall. Whether you're a spider-fan or not. You know you have something special when just moving around New York is fun. Combat, story, acting and visuals are all top-notch. If you have a PS4, don't sleep on this game.

Spiderman is one of the best games this generation, making you feel like Spiderman. The web-slinging feels glorious, and his punches and finishes have weight to them. The soundtrack is truly inspiring and the story hits all the high notes of what makes Spiderman. Easily worth $60, can't wait for the DLC!

This game is amazing, I could say that one of the greatest Spider-Man games in long time. The graphics are amazing specially if you play it on the PS4 pro with 4K. The game play is smooth and precise. The story is new and a great story. A must for a Spider-Man fan and a recommended by to anybody else.

Marvels Spider-Man is possibly the greatest superhero game of all time. The open world is vibrant, and the movement through it so fun and fluid I scarcely touched the fast travel system. The whole game feels like a love letter to spider man, with an endless amount of detail and a gripping story.
