This is my game of the year, it nails almost every aspect of the peter parker character, and the characters surrounding him. Its extremely fluid and fun in gameplay, and it looks amazing too. The story is well crafted with great villains and acting all around.

This game is a joy to play. The story truly shines, bringing spider man to life in a way no movie ever could. The webslinging is simply superb, and it looks great despite some odd controversy prior to release. If you like the character at all, this is a must buy.

This is probably the best spiderman game I have ever played. The open world concept is genius. There is so much variety with side missions, story, or just exploration of NY. Graphics look amazing with the PS4 Pro in 4k. Overall a great game to play for all ages.

Kept hearing this game was fun and the best Spider-man game ever made. So when it went on sale, I picked it up and wow, it lives up to the hype. I still haven't been able to stop playing this game. Easy to use controls, and the graphics are great!

This is my first spider man game and I enjoy it. The combat have its dramatic flair. Slinging around town is a breeze. I say the only downer for me is the combat is easier than I anticipated. It isn't as complex, rather it is very simple. Story is satisfying.

I try not to overpraise games if possible, but Spider-Man for PS4 is such a great game and in my opinion the best video game adaption of the character to date. The game looks beautiful on both PS4 and PS4 Pro but most so during a sunset across Manhatten. There are some elements like some of the battle sequences that seem similar to Batman as well as some of the detective sequences with the Spidey Sense. There are some repetitive elements to the game including finding backpacks, car chases, robberies, drug deals, finding birds, etc, etc, but they are all pretty enjoyable and outside of the story they are wholly optional really just serving as a diversion that yields points to unlock new abilities and suits. Prior to this game I was very much a fan of the original Spider-Man 2 game from 2004 yet this game takes everything that game did and improves it making this my go to Spider-Man game.

I'm sure there are a ton of five star reviews for this game... And it definitely deserves it. Everything about this game screams quality and attention to detail, story, graphics, gameplay, sound, voice acting.. please buy it.. enjoy it. It's worth your money.

I have had a great time playing this game. When playing Spider-Man, I feel like the web-slinging hero. The game does a great job of immersing me into Manhattan Island in New York. The controls feel great. The story is amazing. I am well pleased with this game.

The web slinging is "silky" smooth. The combat is fun. The visuals are amazing.. Esp on the PS4 pro. The story is interesting and this version of Peter Parker is likable. Definitely recommend. Play on the hardest difficulty for the best experience imo.

I prefer doing a list when talking about games so here we go. #1 Graphics- I give it a 9 this game is beautiful and plays very smoothly. I cant give it a 10 because it is such a huge game and you can see some decline in graphics during demanding scenes. Still the HDR support is a plus. I play my ps4 games on a 4k Samsung curved tv with currently the best frame rate available on a tv. #2 gameplay I give a 9 as well. There is a lot to do here however some of the mini games can be tedious and repetitive while others are fun and I dont mind the repetition of it in the game. #3 replayability I would give a 8 if they keep adding content. I chose to do all of the side quests and side missions first to level up. Every once in a while you are forced to do the main story when you have avoided it too long. Thanks to the gamers unlocked I got it for $47 at best buy. Love it! Highly recommend.

Definitely the most in-depth Spider-Man game of all time. The effort Insomniac Games has put into developing this game really shows. Swinging is a genuine pleasure and the combat mechanics are a blast. Earning the 100% platinum trophy was very gratifying.

This game takes the open world formula and perfects it - without innovating upon it. Combat is great and fluid - web-swinging around is a lot of fun. But then the bulk of the game is doing the same 5 activities over and over again. Only a couple boss fights in the game truly deviate from the standard formulas and, while they're great, they come too few and far between. Don't get me wrong - the game is so refined that I didn't mind the repetitive nature of some of the core gameplay loop - but it would have been nice to see something 'new' as well.

This game is amazing, and is a "must play" for any fans of the webslinger! The gameplay is awesome, as well as the graphics and storyline. Add in the bonus content, and the overall mechanics, and it's a solid game worth playing and re-playing.

Bruh, this game is amazing! The visuals, the gameplay, the story... all nice. I love the different suits and how they give you different abilities. There were a few glitches (one of the characters was stuck in a wall in one scene), but overall, it's great!

Very fun game. Wish it was longer though and a little bit more difficult. Would have liked more side quests, and collectibles. I 100% the game in a week. But overall I had fun the entire time swing around NY and seeing the different NY and Marvel landmarks.

This is a fantastic take on the open-world superhero format popularized with the Batman series. The combat is a little simpler but still very nuanced and fun, and just getting around is a joy - easily the most fun travel in any open world game I've played.

This game is fantastic! The whole open concept of the state of New York is quite amazing. The attention to detail and incorporation of other marvel character details is awesome. The flow of being spider man and swinging from buildings is very user friendly.

Admittedly I am not a big gamer but I will say I LOVE this game. The game is not very difficult even on the hardest setting. I was able to achieve 100% completion for the first time on any game and its because the game keeps you involved and entertained.

I absolutely love the game, it's by far the best Spiderman game to date. Any popular Marvel character game should have Insomniac Games develop it. Spiderman has so much detail, humor with great story progression/pacing. Like Arkham Knight but better!

I can honestly say that this game has went above and beyond in the graphic detail in the story mode. Very fun to play and love the open concept
