I fondly remember playing the Spiderman video game for PS2 when the first movies came out almost 20 years ago. This game brought back some of that nostalgic gameplay but with incredible graphics and dynamic controls. Would totally recommend!

if so pick this up. You will not be disappointed. Had a bit of trouble myself getting the combat controls down but once I did everything else just flowed together wonderfully! Even the story is pretty awesome and I'm all about a good story!

Video games are supposed to be fun and immersive and Spider-Man is both. It took forever to beat the story because I was having so much fun swinging around NYC. You really feel like Spider-Man and the story is deep and well thought out.

What a great experience. This is the best Spider-Man game “I’ve” played. Will take you a minute to get used to the controls... or 40. However long, it’s worth it. Great story and character development.

As Polygon stated, this game is the result of what happens when a top-rated studio creates a game with a well-known story, and they do it RIGHT! This game is so much fun to play, and it gives you everything you want from a spiderman game.

Picked this up on sale for $20. Worth every penny. Game is great, albeit frustrating at time when the controls don’t react when attempting to quickly chain some attacks together. There would be times when I would attack the wrong person, or during stealth mission, where I’d be pressing the stealth attack button and Spiderman wouldn’t respond. Luckily the game was so much fun and be story was so well written that these moments were just a mere annoyance in an otherwise great game.

Another great game for the PS4 console. We haven't had a solid and enjoyable Spider-Man game in awhile since the PS2 era but this one has blown my expectations out of the water. Awesome gameplay and the story has kept me captivated so far.

This game really steps it up for the spiderman franchise. The combat flows better than the Arkham games with more fluidity of using gadgets in combat. Solid storyline and the web swinging is even better than that of Spiderman 2 on the ps2

Swinging around the city feels so good, sometimes you can find yourself just getting lost in exploring the city. Side missions add bonus little amounts of lore which makes them worth doing. The writing and the story is incredible as well.

After plaything the game for many months, i can say this is the best spider-man game i had ever played out of all the ones i tried out as well as playing other spider-man games, this story not only showed how peter Parker struggles throughout his life being spider-man for 8 years, it also knows when to be funny, and serious as the story progresses. As the result for a Teen ratting this did not hold things back when it took itself serious, and shows the Mature level on not only caring about the characters but also the villains have a backstory that shows clear motivation why they do what they do. This game also had a lot of heart felt and emotional moments are very important throughout the story. that being said for all Spider-man Fans out there this is most definitely worth getting and highly recommend.

Finally a game that captures the essence of spiderman. Insomniac nailed the swinging and combat. Great graphics and gameplay with an interesting story. Tons of side missions that help to level up and craft suits. This game is a must buy.

Insomniac is one of the premier developers of our time. I cannot recommend this game enough. While some of the side missions get repetitive from a gameplay perspective, the minute to minute swinging and fighting is incredibly enjoyable.

I thought this game was fun to play, main my because the story was interesting, the graphics were great, and it was overall very fun to play. I’d recommend this game to people who like Spider-Man.

The game mechanics are amazing-- I was surprised at how they were able to visualize the webslinging abilities and how much thought went into Spider-Man's combat style (creative, agile and acrobatic). Highly enjoyable to play and watch!

This game was so well made that I have absolutely no complaints about it. It is nearly flawless with excellent gameplay and story telling that will make you fall in love with Peter Parker and co. Nothing but love for this game.

Swing into action as Marvel Spider-Man. This Insomniac offering lets you take crime fighting to all of Manhattan via third-person action. A brand new story line satisfies hardcore fans and newcomers in this Marvel Spider-Man game.

I was honestly surprised how good this game is. It starts off a bit slow but when you start getting more powers, the game completely sucks you in to the story, the game play, the characters, etc. One fo the best the PS4 has to offer.

The answer better be because I don't own a ps4; then the question becomes why haven't you bought a ps4 to play this game yet? Streamline controls like Spider-Man 2 the movie game; great upgrade/leveling system; well rounded story.

Insomniac knocked it out of the park and made one of the best superhero games ever. Fantastic controls make swinging around NYC a blast, and fun-if-familiar combat lets you catch thieves just like flies. A must-have for any PS4 owner

This game is awesome. The graphics are the best and it is fun to just run around the city doing side missions. There is a good story and action really is self paced and you can either follow the story or just walk around New York.
