Spider-Man does not disappoint, and the hype is true. Graphically the game looks great, on par with Horizon Zero Dawn. The sound track is awesome, it feels like a mash up of the Raimi films a Homecoming. Great voice actors too, they play their parts well. The story is not just a Spider-Man story, but a Peter Parker story, with lots of twists and turns along with a good rogue gallery roster. The controls are silky smooth, and web slinging around the city is pure joy.

This is the game to get for pure fun - I can spend hours simply swinging around NY. The fighting system has a learning curve, but once it clicks you'll feel awesome beating up groups of baddies. HIGHLY recommended!

This it's the best Spider-Man game ever made. Gameplay and story are really good. There's tons of costumes and gadgets to collect, plus side missions, and challenges to keep you busy well beyond the main story.

Most of you reading this will understand the reference. this is a fantastic spiderman game with amazing swinging and combat. the story is amazing, you would do yourself a disservice not to buy this game.

It's been too long that comic book fans and movie fans have had to settle for substandard adventure games for their favorite franchises. No more! This is the PERFECT Spider-Man game. It has a story worthy of the best of Marvel's recent cinema outings, along with a deep trove of world-building and fan pleasing in terms of side quests and discoverables. Most importantly: you feel like Spider-Man when you play. The mobility, the acrobatics and the pace of action meet and surpass the expectations of anyone who has ever daydreamed about being Spider-Man. In that, this game succeeds where most fail. It's not just a great Spider-Man game - it's a great game, period.

I was waiting for this game to release and it did not disappoint, with a great story, great gameplay, and most of all, amazing web swinging mechanics, you will surely enjoy what Spider-Man on the PS4 has to offer!

This is probably the most recommendable PS4 game to date. Great for any type of gamer. Everything about this game is extremely well done. The story, graphics, gameplay.... it is all fantastic. Highly recommended!!

If you ever played the Batman trilogy video games the fighting style mimics that! the story is awesome and there's a ton of extra things to do. Also, its always cool just to swing around and climb on buildings lol

This is an amazing game. Very well done. You def get the spider-man feel. Lots of different Spider-man suits you can unlock and the main story line in fun! highly recommend; its my favorite superhero game to date

Loved this game! Great graphics and controls, and just pure fun to swing around fighting the bad guys. Some of the side stuff can get a little repetitive, but I still enjoyed ever minute of it. A worthy purchase.

This is one of the best games of this modern generation. The swinging and combat is fluid, the story engrossing and all around is just a super fun game to play. If you haven't picked this up already, get it now.

As a gamer, I remember when I played Spider Man 2 when I Hollywood Video existed. I had a lot of fun with that game and I wished I would have beaten it when I was a young boy. However, now it is the time for me to relive that old experience through this even thought I still need to beat this reincarnation of Spider man. So far in this Spider-man, I have had a lot of fun with it because you feel like you are spider-man and it is super realistic. As for the story, I think it is your typical super hero story but that is just part of the experience because you feel like you have to do what is right and ensuring to stop these super villains. Personally I think this is a game you should own right away and it is a system seller hands down!!!

This game was very gripping, which says something when put to the test by my very short attention span. The gameplay and swinging controls were well done, and the story was very interesting; Marvel-movie quality.

I am a die hard Batman fan, but this game caught my attention pretty quick. Good story, good gameplay, great graphics on the pro. Played the whole game from start to finish and there is still plenty left to do!

This is such a fantastic game. There are some repetitive elements and the dlc is lackluster, but this base game is full of great moments, thrilling action, and a fantastic story about the web-crawler himself.

What’s not to love about spider-man? this game has it all, great cinematic scenes, great game play, great fighting mechanics, amazing story line and just overall a phenomenal game.

By far one of the best Spiderman games around, deep cuts into the lore, lots of little bonus things thrown in. Good story, excellent visuals, sound and music are great. Combat is fluid and feels/looks fantastic.

This was a fantastic game in the spirt of the Batman Arkham games. The world looks wonderful, the character designs are phenomenal, the voice acting is spot on, the combat is up there with the best of them (especially with the DLC), and the highpoint of the game is probably the way they made the traversal so fun and seamless. By the time you get access to fast travel, you likely won't use it because it is so fun to swing around with Spidey and do side missions and take part in the combat. If you enjoyed the Batman: Arkham games, this is a no-brainer to purchase. If you enjoy action games and want a fresh, new take on the Amazing Spider-man, then you owe it to yourself to get this amazing game (and the DLC).

This games fun, really fun. It's great to have something fun to play on the couch after a long day that you don't have to put too much focus into. It's got a great story, and enjoyable just to swing around NYC.

Really great game. If you love the character from the comics or the movies, you will like this game. Best web-slinging action ever created for a Spider-Man game. New York City is almost its own character as you can web-sling and explore a lot of areas. Fun, challenging boss fights. Only downside, is even on the easy mode, your character can get killed if you don't master the dodging and jumping and special offensive moves. Spider-man still isn't bullet-proof!
