The story line is a great story for both Spider-man and Peter Parker. It's fun to play against so many classic villains. I have as much fun just swinging around the city as I do playing the quests.

As someone who loved Spider-man 2 on PS2, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this game. It's fantastic! The graphics are beautiful, story is rich, and combat is fun. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I had a lot of fun playing this game. The visuals are great, the gameplay is fun and the story line kept me entertained. The only thing that annoyed me a little was the excessive loading screens.

This is by far the best Spider-man game that has been made. It looks great on the PS4. The story, graphics, and game play are top notch. A definite must play for all PS4 and Spidey fans.

It plays like the Batman games only your Spider-Man so you can swing and use spiderwebs and each suit is git it’s own unique special move. A lot of fun playing. Great graphics story and acting

As with most games in this vein, there is a lot of repetition in tasks, but the storyline helps open up the side-quests necessary to fully level out and equip Spider-Man. Enough new non-story material gets introduced gradually to help prevent the repetitive nature from being so obvious. You can complete some landmark or crime events while swinging to your next story location. The unlocking of suits provides for some extra powers with the nice feature being that once unlocked you can use a suit-specific power with any of the unlocked suits. There are three equipment slots that give added bonuses, but since you can only equip three at a time you have to be picky in which ones you use (and unlock) and they don't seem to add much to the game. Gadgets are required for some parts of the storyline and once unlocked certain ones have certain advantages for completing bonus goals. All in all the game comes across like a combination of the Batman Arkham games and Assassin's Creed. Cinematic story with plenty of open world opportunities to explore. Places where the game has a deficit come with some of the odd camera angles during combat and web-swing chases - you will be blocked from all vision of what is happening, likely multiple times, during a fight as the camera gets stuck behind a van, water tower, or some other obstruction. Likewise, playing as Miles or Mary Jane you don't get the benefit of Spidey-Sense or a side-screen warning when a bad guy is on the verge of spotting you. Some of the Miles/Mary Jane sequences really slow the game down. When you're done, make sure to let the credits roll for a while....

This is the best Spider-Man game to date and the best PS4 game of the year. You could spend hours just exploring the gorgeous recreation of New York alone. Solid story and combat!!!! A must buy!!!

Loads of fun, good gameplay and story, easily a must have for PS4 owners and fans of Spiderman. There's also awesome costumes with unique abilities to choose from along with dlc

Excellent game and hands down the best Spider-Man game ever. Web slinging through the city is a blast, combat is fluid and exciting. Highly recommended.

The game is a must have for Spidey Fans, captures that classic feel being able to swing all over the place while having the combat feel kind of similar to recent batman games. Well worth the money

The gameplay is incredible and movement has never felt so good in a game. But man this game's story is superb and well hit you in the feels. Overall amazing experience that all gamers should play!

This is the first game that I was hooked by the story as much as the gameplay, I loved watching the cut scenes and will be furious if they don’t make a sequel. I’ll preorder it the moment it drops

Stunning graphics with a faithful recreation of Manhattan. Amazing fun open world with a lot of smartly designed quests. One the best comic book based games along with Batman Arkham Knight. 10/10

This is one of the best games I've played in along time. The story and missions are great, but what makes it for me is the free roaming through the city, its so cool!!

My 9-year-old says: “It’s super-fun to play. I love how you can get different suits. I like how you can jump off buildings, then spin a web and start swinging. I never want to stop playing.”

Bought this for my teenage boys. They enjoy this game very much. I've seen the graphics and it looks great, clear. The story line so far looks good. Much more to do than previous spiderman games.

Insomniac has knocked it out the park. With a story that pulls you in, fun and challenging combat, tons of gadgets and suits, and a lot of classic villains, you'll have a blast playing this game!
