The storyline is well made, open world concept beautifully done, graphics are top notch. Overall, a very fun game to play. If you're a Spider-Man fan, you won't be disappointed.

I don’t play the superhero games, but Spider-Man is why I bought a PS4. The gameplay is great and it’s actually fun to get around the open world map without a fast travel

This is such a a great game if you like superheroes or not I highly recommend this game. It has a very good story, not to mention the whole movement of spider-man.

I haven't had a ton of time to play it, but so far this game is awesome! My kids like it, but it's a little hard for younger ones. It's a little bit of a teenage game anyways.

Since the first time I started to when I beat the game it has been an absolute blast. The developers really do a great job of making you feel like Spider-Man right from the start. I'm still playing this game now, starting new game plus and the DLC. I've easily put in 100 hours and I'm still playing. You definitely get your money's worth with this game. There were a couple glitchy things, enemies got stuck in buildings but you can't have an open world game without a couple glitches here and there, its to be expected. Don't really have anything bad to say about this game. Seriously one of the best PS4 exclusives out there.

Wonderful game with so much to do, and the feeling of swinging around like Spidey never gets old. Combat is great, very similar to the Arkham games and feels very satisfying

First of all, you probably only care that Spider-Man FEELS like Spider-Man, and he does... Controlling him is a dream, and is as life accurate to the cinematography present in the films. However, as most open world games do, this one wears thin by the 1/2 mark. Repetitive goals; collect-a-thons, etc. The story is amazing. I'm not involved in comic lore, but the ending is a tearjerker.

My son has played this game and really loved it. Now it is my turn. Graphics are great, story is great, combat and movement is perfect, very Batman Arkham style of gameplay.

There was a lot of hype for this game, and after playing, it lives up to the hype. Great graphics, a lot of fun playing as Spider-Man, and a great story. Really fun to play!

This is the definitive Spider-Man game since it's release. It's that good. The traversal across NYC feels fantastic, which is no surprise coming from Insomniac who also created Sunset Overdrive on Xbox which shares many of the same traversal mechanics. The Open World is generations old now, almost like early Assasin's Creed 1-3 days, which is a bad and good thing. It's simple and fun, but it feels like a checkbox of things to do across the city which can be a burden when all you really want to do is travel all around virtual Manhattan helping everyone as your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. A must play! :)

First and formost, the graphics alone make this game standout. Secondly, the mechanics of webslinging are so intuitive. I have barely put in about 3 hours and I'm in love.

The story is wooden and doesn't have any consistent edge, but the gameplay mechanics, traversal system, and combat mechanics are amazing. Webslinging through the city is like a constant minigame unto itself - you can unlock aerial tricks that build combat meters and XP. Spidey is remarkably responsive to environments, launching off pipes, cornering buildings, and moving through changes in terrain on a vertical wall run with near-seamless fluidity. The combat system reminds me of the Batman: Arkham Freeflow system, but faster and more responsive. Spidey's web zip ability means you can move quickly between different groups of enemies in a combat area, while the game holds you accountable for actually doing that by spawning enemies with guns, grenades, and rocket launchers. Plenty of character customizations are available, both strategic and cosmetic. There could always be more suit options, but there are plenty of looks available for Spider-Man. The game even manages to incorporate some puzzles and minigames that relate to Peter Parker's work as a scientist. I typically stick to games with edgier stories and M ratings, but this game is worth your time. I mean, even the Week 1 glitches managed to be kind of endearing (I have not encountered any, but as of the time of this review, the game's software version is on at least 1.05, so I'm sure they've patched a lot). Superb game, and a LOT of fun

Next to the Last of Us and RDR2, I have never played a PS4 game as much as this. Amazing story, exceptional play and astounding graphics. This game will not disappoint!
