An interesting story, incredibly intelligent gameplay and an overall embodiment of the best Spider-Man experience you could imagine.

I remember years back on the PS1, how much I liked playing Spider-man on that console. Then Spider-man 2 years later, thinking no new Spidey game was probably gonna beat those 2 anytime soon. Then this PS4 exclusive came and blew me away. Swinging around is fun and pretty smooth once you get the hang of it. Even chore challenges that were obviously put in to add longevity to the game are fun overall and don't actually feel like a chore lol. I would definitely recommend this game, whether you're a big Spider-man fan or not.

So nice to finally have a proper Spider-Man game! The swinging is too fun, I never even used the fast travel. The combat is fun as well

Spider man is a must for PS$ owners and actually everyone else should play it. Incredible mechanics, graphics 4k, story. What a marvel!

It seemed like forever for the release to come out after the first teaser several years ago. The delay was discouraging, but the final product was very polished and fluid. Insomniac hit it out of the park. Sure, lots of comparisons to the Arkham series but that seems like more of an honor than anything. Plus, being a PS exclusive I know of several people who have come on board now just because of this game. The Spider has power! Definitely worth the pick up, the future DLC, and more to come from Insomniac and Marvel.

This is by far one of my favorite games. It has tons of action and fighting all the villains are so much fun!! A must buy for PS4 users

verything about this title screams AAA. The control of your character, the art style, the technical graphics prowess, and of course the all-important web-swinging, are all masterful. There's a nice tight narrative should you wish to ignore all the additional content, or you can go for a 100% by performing all the collectible tasks and side missions. One of the greatest PS4 titles ever made, without doubt.

Simply put, this game feels good to play. Traversing the city as Spider-Man feels natural from the get-go, and has enough nuance and unlock-able abilities to keep it engaging over the very long journey. It features an impressive depiction of Manhattan but with some nice Marvel Easter Eggs dotted throughout. The combat in the game is also really satisfying. It feels like the next evolution in the formula established by the Arkham Knight games. If you own a PS4 and enjoy action games then you should give it a shot.

This game is so much fun. It’s pretty easy to get the controls down and it’s an awesome open world game. The storyline is pretty good.

This has to be one of the most fun, "open-world" comic book character video games I think I've ever played. I've always loved Spidey (my favorite since childhood), and getting to swing around the big city as him is quite a blast. Graphics are great, sound is great, story's pretty good. Would highly recommend.

I was skeptical about yet another Spiderman story/game, especially with the glut of superhero games and movies, and also with the rash of parkour type games flooding the market. But, after completing the game, I will tell you that the story and voice acting are top notch. I would recommend to anyone looking for a well put together game, with great game mechanics, and great story line. This is Insomniac's best game, and I am a big Resistance and Ratchet and Clank series fan, but this is a level above even those.

Awesome story. Tight controls. Outstanding voice acting. And it's Spider-Man. Where can you go wrong? Can't wait for the sequel.

Graphics are great. The story is great and paced well. Leveling system keep gameplay fresh with new moves to use against the bad guys.
