Spider-Man is the best single player superhero game ever. Coming from a person that hates the "Spider-Man" character, this is an honor. Cuts scene are on par with Metal Gear Solid and the challenges of being the best hero take it to the next level. When you purchase this, you also need the DLC to get the full experience (see story mode). Without the DLC, you will still get a full experience. PS4 must buy.

This is hands down one of the best superhero games ever, I’m close to saying it’s better than Arkham Asylum. By far the best feature of this game is swinging around a beautiful rendering of Manhattan Island with cute little nods to other Marvel properties. The only obvious weakness is some optional challenges which just plain suck, but again they are optional so some players may not even encounter them.

I have never played a super hero game which more successfully makes you feel the part of your character. The game has so much variety in gameplay styles and features, side missions, etc, and I found myself wanting to play every last bit of it. This is even better than the excellent Batman Arkham games in terms of superhero games. I highly recommend it to any gamer looking for a challenging and fun game.

Phenomenal game, I never play, but story line and gameplay kept me in

The web slinging in this game makes world travel very fun. The combo’s for combat are easy to do. Has your basic open world filler quests, but because world travel is fun you’ll find your self being in a quest just because your slinging around Manhattan.

Captures the true essence of the character along with a great story and amazing gameplay.

If you like Spider-Man comics, then this is the friggin game for you! The whole ensemble rogues gallery makes an appearance at one point of another in the story. Game play is slick and fun. The games version of NYC feels alive and dangerous, but spideys always got the upper hand. Each main mission feels like an issue of a comic and the whole game tells such a fun Spider-Man story.

Overall it’s a great game. It has really great graphics and the the story line is great
