They do a terrific job with the production and the storytelling (and I was a big Spidey fan going in to this), but the gameplay really clicked for me. I got sidetracked a lot and lost track of time as I swung around the city, stopped random crimes, and did other side activities, which for me is a sign of a game I really enjoyed.

A ton of open world nestalgia

This game brings back those old memories. It does have some weird hiccups from time to time but they do not take away from the overall experience. If you are looking for an open world superhero game or if you are just looking for some friendly reminders of your childhood, this is the game for you.
