Love this game, swinging feels amazing, looks great

This is a great game for Spider-Man or comic book lovers! I was able to beat it to 100% completion over the span of 3 weeks with occasional play. I just have to say that it's very similar to all of the Batman Arkham games, Infamous games and even Prototype games. So if you didn't like those I doubt you'll enjoy this one.

This game is amazing from start to finish....so many things to do...Spider-Man is very easily to control and you feel swinging from buildings to buildings. The combat mechanic is also well done and you have the chance to use a larger set of gadget during the fights...so many suits to choose from. A great game overall

This is a great game... story line is engaging, graphics are phenomenal, and lots of side quests to keep you busy (if you're into that kind of thing). The only downside of this game is its very much a rehashing of previous game formulas that have worked in the past. If you loved the Batman Arkham series, this game is for you. As I was playing this , I kept getting the feeling that this has a very similar mechanic (fighting, movement, etc) and sequencing as one of the Batman Arkham games. I gave it 4/5, as it didn't really bring anything new to the genre (other than suits unlocks & suit powers), and that it started to feel a bit redundant in later stages of the game.

I had my doubts getting into this game as most superhero games disappoint me. It’s hard to make a game about an almost invincible character and make it possible to die but this game is great. Graphics were amazing and the game play and controls let you do a variety of things with ease. Storyline is pretty amazing too!

Yes you'll feel like him. The open world is great, and it's very fluid. Some missions do get repetitive and/or tedious as most open world missions do in other games, so keep that in mind.

Marvel's Spider-Man is a fantastic interpretation of the character, with fun gaming mechanics, great graphics and animations, and tons of little touches and easter eggs for long time comic fans. Learning all the controls is a bit daunting, but you pick it up as you go (and will probably stick to some favorite moves).

I had read and heard nothing but good things about Spiderman, but I was slowly plotting along playing Red Dead Redemption 2, so I just held off on buying. Nearing the end of RDR2, I picked up Spiderman for 20 bucks on sale, and the game is so good I would have paid full price knowing what I know now!

I never thought anything could surpass the swinging mechanic in the Spider-Man game on the PlayStation One. This game starts off a little slow and you feel like spider cop more than a superhero. However, The swinging is always satisfying. A must have game in the sea of great titles for the PlayStation 4.

Preordered this when it came out. 2 years later and its still the best game I've played on the current gen. Just get it, it's worth it. Plus how are you going to understand the sequel if you don't play this?! You can tell how much love and thought went into this game.

I used to play Spiderman back on the PS2, and I am so happy that this game gives me a 2018 updated version of that old game but with so much more open world play. Almost reminds me of a GTA5 with a spiderman theme, 100% fun times ahead. I'm 40 hours in and only 50% through the story due to the amount of side quests!
