The game had a few rough edges that the latest patch helped smooth out. Overall it's very addictive and enjoyable. It reminds me quite a bit if the original Mass Effect with combat that's even better than 3.

Not as good as the originals, but still a great game. The character decisions are not as important or have as much affect in this game as previous additions, but the combat and planet exploration is amazing.

Mass Effect 2 is the high point of the series, this is probably close to the bottom, if not the bottom.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the first three games. But this took a lot that we hated in the first game and brought it back. Specifically the grind for resources, pretty bad in this one. The maps are horrible, you can only highlight one objective at a time. They should take a note out of the Bethesda book on that one. I want to show up on a planet and have six people who I need to talk to, have markers on them. I don't want to go through a cut screen six times to come back to the same area. The cut screens between moving anywhere are likely to give you a headache or a seizure, pick one. And don't get me started on the faces, this series always pushed the risqué with its paramour achievements. Not in Andromeda, all the faces not only are a step back in game graphics, but they are like the ugly not so fun girl down the street. They definitely stole sexy back from JT and put it in a blender. All and all not a complete waste of time, but a huge disappointment having been so excited for the next chapter.

A Solid Game, But Not Perfect.

While the game itself is good, there are few things that I don't like. The cover system could of been better, the menu system is a mess, the characters dialogue just doesn't make sense sometimes, and the story itself feels a little boring at times. Other than that, the game is beautiful, combat is great once you get use to all the new things you can do. And the "open" environment is a nice welcome. There is plenty to do with plenty of options, multiplayer is similar to ME3, just faster and more chaotic. All in all a good game, some minor glitches, but nothing that hasn't resolved itself of stopped me from playing. I'm enjoying the game, and if you like ME you'll like this new entry.

This is the first Mass Effect game I have ever played so I didn't really know what to expect but after playing it I think its alight. I know a lot of people are complaining about animations and other stuff but honestly I don't think its that bad and I haven't encountered any bugs myself. Overall I am enjoying it and while its not perfect its pretty good.

I heard a lot of negative reviews about Andromeda, but I was a fan of the original trilogy so I decided to try it for myself. It's not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's not as "epic" nor has a good a story as the original trilogy, but it's still an enjoyable time. Combat is similar to previous games, and the game actually looks pretty good on my PS4 Pro. A lot of criticism was levied against its facial animations, but the latest patches mitigate a lot of the problems. Have you played Dragon Age: Inquisition? Did you like it? Because ME:A is essentially DA:I in space. Same sort of quest structure is what I mean. If you enjoyed DA:I, you'll probably enjoy ME:A. If you've never played a Mass Effect game before, you will probably enjoy this too. If you're a long-time ME fan, your enjoyment out of the game is going to be directly proportionate to how willing or able you are to separate this from the original trilogy and try to take it as its own thing.
