Mass effect for this console generation leaves a lot to be desired. This game with its current patches still has lots of issues. But it's still a fun game. Once this game drops down below 30 bucks I would pick it up.

Huge letdown... very buggy and just overall meh. Game felt rushed and just not fun to play. Hopefully they continue Mass Effect but put more time into it.

I’m a huge Mass Effect fan and I liked the story very much but I felt with the amount of time they took on the game that the graphics would be a little better than they are. Still all in all worth playing.

As for first time playing a ME game, its pretty fun. I already logged on 60+ hour in just Multiplayer alone. It does get repetitive, but I do not mind farming games.

Reviews of the game did not give it high scores, though the game is still fun to play in my personal opinion, especially playing thru all the previous games. I agree that the story line could have been better.

After highly looking forward for this game since the initial announcement, the overall impression left from my current play-through has been lacking. There have been quite a few jokes and comments made about the animations of the game, but that's not the real problem. This does not feel like a Bioware quality game. Writing feels lazy, and often is a retread of previous games with a new coat of paint. Bioware has mentioned there are forthcoming announcements of improvements coming in early April, so hopefully we will see some updates to what could be a great game that got off on a bad foot.

Mass Effect Andromeda is a worthy successor title in the Mass Effect series. However, be prepared to play a time sink of game, the only negatives are the animations and the sheer amount of tasks to complete.

Awesome game, rich story line... It pays Homage to Shepard with a new Galaxy to explore...

Mass Effect has always been a buggy, clunky game from the first, so this game still having that stuff is par for the course. Don't let your nostalgia for the original games cloud that fact from your mind.
