Regardless of the Reviews, it's still a good time

Disappoint game of what could have been
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This game is solid (which I would say loosely), but it is also a disappointing game compared to its predecessors and of how good this game could have been. Before the patches, multiplayer matchmaking was horrendous. It would take way too long to get 3 other players in your lobby for an online match. Also, if you joined a game and was not the host, you were at risk of being disconnected MID MATCH, and lose any consumable powerups you equipped for that match (and all progress, while getting no XP or Credits for your efforts). Also the single player campaign left much to be desired. Weird facial animations and character movement, bland and slow planet travel, and a very confusing user interface that made it hard to track your quests and assignments. This game would have been better if Bioware took the time to iron out all the kinks before releasing it, but it is what it is.

Disappointing...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a bioware fan, I almost always defend them. I can't do it this time. I don't care about the technical problems, or animations. The writing is terrible, I can't exactly put my finger on what is wrong with this game. I keep playing hoping it will get better. Nothing has happened yet that makes me want to keep playing to see where it goes, i have no interest in the conversations either. It just feels like a hollow shell. If the reapers turned games into husks this would be the result.

Avoid. Will never patch out the boring.

Mass Effect Andromeda is BORING and POORLY DESIGNED above all else. Poor animations, empty areas, pointless fetch quests, and just no respect for the time of the player. Finished it despite really not liking it. Probably done with the series now. Lost a loyal fan and customer Bioware/EA.
