Doesn't capture the magic of the originals
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wonky animations aside, Andromeda does it's best to capture the expansiveness of the original trilogy by giving the player what seems like endless missions and quests. However, this doesn't seem to help the game too much as it just seems too big...and the tediousness of running back and forth between the games main station hub and the different planets probably could have been scaled back a bit. The visuals are breathtaking, though as stated above, there are some very wonky character animations and faces, though I think that has more to do with Bioware's use of the new motion capture engine they used. Despite my complaints, the game is still fun, though I found myself not entirely into the story the way I was for the original trilogy.

Mass Effect Andromeda
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mass Effect Andromeda is a good but not a great game. The story starts out slow but eventually picks up, the graphics are good and the mechanics are fun. The game is way too long though, taking about 40-50 hours to really pick up and around 90 hours to complete.

Clunky at first, but very fun once you get going
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whether you're a fan of Mass Effect or new to the series, it's a worth-while purchase. I've done a bit of the story so far and a lot of the online. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get into a decent group, the online multiplayer is very satisfying.

Better than ME 1 and 2, but not ME3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far with the copy that I received, I haven't received too many bugs. Combat is great and very diverse. The story is a bit on the bland side, but I thought the same thing about ME1. If you like the Mass Effect Universe, you should definitely pick this one up.

Awesome Game! Love the RPG elements.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Preodered and bought the game from Best Buy to get the Steelcase but never recieved it because Associate said there is no Steelcase. Smh... Highly disappointed with that. Otherwise, the game itself is good. Slow start and scanning planets for material is a con.

Small Bugs, but Still Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are no game breaking bugs, but they are noticeable. However the game quality overall is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 4th installment of the series and it is absolutely great. As all previous Mass Effect stories, Andromeda continues with the detailed side quests to keep you busy for hours. I'm 30 hours in and have done so many side quests I am still only about 1/3 the way through the main story. Great game for an explorer. And the multiplayer.... man, the only co-op 3rd person shooter I know of. So many different classes, guns, add-ons available and some even tie back to the single player version.

Fresh breath for franchise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Andromeda is a new take on the series where instead of trying to protect all life from a galactic threat, your mission is to explore the galaxy in search of a new home. There are bugs in the game, but nothing that fans of the original series has not seen.

Biowares worst game is still pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have liked any of the previous games in the series you will definitely still enjoy this one, it might have plenty of faults and might not compare with other RPGs out in the market, but its still a very solid game. I recommend this to Bioware fans.

Disappointingly mediocre.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor animations, weird looking models, dry voice acting, bad humor... a disappointing entry into the Mass Effect series. But! The combat is really fun. It's worth looking into if you like multiplayer.

Good, not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that they've got the bugs mostly fixed, it's actually a pretty decent experience. Never going to set the word on fire like the original trilogy, and I still miss my Garrus, but combat is a blast and I'm having a lot of fun with multiplayer, too.

Probably better if you've never played an ME title
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know there's a lot of hate for this game, but I don't get it. Then again, I never played a previous ME title, so I can't compare it to the series. On it's own, it seems fine and fun to me.

Pretty decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely not the mind blowing experience of ME1, but pretty good so far. Facial and body animations outside of combat really suck, but environments are fantastic. Combat itself is great and crafting is decent. Lots to explore and do.

Hidden gem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I avoided this game when it first released due to the backlash that it got. However, I decided to pick it up and try due to the recent sale. And I must say, the game is a lot better now than it was before. Even though the controls seem a little clunky, the story so far has been quite a trip. I have never played any Mass Effect games so this is my very first one and it's good. For only six dollars, this game is really good.

Wow!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a game, this game has everything I like in a game. Its full story line, its open ended, its got puzzles, you can explore to your hearts content. The interface is a bit awkward and takes time to learn. There is not tutorial that walks you through how to use it. Just some text. Plenty of land battles haven't come across any space battles yet but I only have 40 hours into it and only gotten to visit two worlds. This game is huge.
