What happened with this game they had the time they had the money. Don't know how they messed up so bad. I love the last mass effect games but this game does not fit with those store. Avoid this game unless you can get it for less than 20 bucks.

I wasn't gonna buy this game cause of the reviews but glad I bought it this is a good game everybody that talk about the animation forgot to talk about the gameplay that what makes the game but combat is really fast and good the story was actually ok not as long as the other mass effects multiplayer just like Mass effect 3 other then that a must try at least definitely if your a fan of mass effect

I got to say this is still a fun game. At least I have had fun with it. Yes, some of the animation was kind of screwed up at first but a recent update has fixed most of the glaring issues. The story itself isn't as good as the three previous games but it is very rare for anything such as a game or movie to be as good the third or fourth time. I also kind of wished they would have updated the basic layout of the game. It looks nice but at times it plays like a remastered version of the other three. Still fun but I'd wait until it drops in price before buying it.

So far, a few hours in, and it begins to feel as though this game is slightly better looking game than its predecessors but is not offering much newer and interesting options in terms of gameplay.

As you've heard already, I'm sure, the game does fall short of meeting the high standard set by previous Mass Effect titles. Yes, the animations can be jarring and there are definitely bugs to be encountered. But you know what? If you swept aside BioWare's shortfalls before, trust me when I say you will do it again. Mass Effect: Andromeda still has a sense of discovery and wonder that enthralls me to my core. The multiplayer is okay (very similar to ME3, if not basically the same thing) but the single player here is really what it's all about, and to me, it does deliver on the story. If you enjoy Mass Effect and/or (semi-)open world RPGs, you're going to like it as much as I did.

The game has a great story and excellent graphics, minus the somewhat "cartoony" faces that don't really fit with the realism of the surrounding graphics. However, if you don't go in looking for the next Elder Scrolls, as many who'd played the original Mass Effect trio did, then your expectations won't be shattered and your experience won't be bad, kinda like the hype versus the reality of No Man's Sky, originally. I've enjoyed that game, since I first got it, because I didn't pay attention to all the hype, and so I didn't know what to expect. Without that (rather untenable) point of comparison, the game seems much better,

Combat the best in mass effect, but is buggy and poor animation makes for a poor experience. Wait till it's patched, also multiplayer is unbalance.

A decent game on it's own merits, but more a repackaging of the Mass Effect 3 engine than something truely unique. If you're a fan of the M.E. series, you'll have a good time with Andromeda.

Since it's my first time playing mass effect series, this game is pretty good. I know many negative reviews are out there, but I like it so far. Consider this as Playstation Halo version.

I have loved every minute that I have spent playing this game. My friends that have it have had nothing but good things to say about the story and game play. The multiplayer aspect is pretty much the same as it was in ME3 but it is just as addicting as it was then. I would high recommend this game to fans of the series and if you have not played the others it is easy to jump into.

Best game this year hands down. Amazing story. Beautiful in 4k. Awesome game.

Great game full of intense story. Battles and exploration are entertaining.

Have not finished this game yet. ME2 was better but this is still a good game. Typical ME style game with lots of missions, cool characters to get to know and plenty of alien bad guys.

This game has a lot of bugs and issues. I think they rushed it to make the March release date. I would wait a month or two and see if they can fix it. Maybe wait until it goes on sale.

PS4 version = Mass Effect 3.5, PC version = Mass Effect 4. This is what the 1st Mass Effect game should've been! Great chapter in the series. 50 hours in and still have so much to do!

It is a good game, make no mistake. It may not have had the impact that the first ones in the series had but ti is much better than playing another HD remaster of something on PS4.

Bought this game and it is very good, love the graphics and story line.

For a game that has an estimated 40 million dollar budget and spent about 5 years in development, I have been less than impressed. From the get go, the character customization has gone backwards. Animation has been pretty atrocious. The multiplayer aspect is filled with bugs. In fact, BioWare had a live stream on Twitch yesterday (3/30), trying to introduce a new mission. Couldn't get it to work. Hopefully patches will fix the issues, but as of right now, I would not recommend purchasing the game at full price.

If you are a fan of the mass effect franchise, you would know the high expectations of mass effect andromeda. After mass effect ending fiasco, everyone was expecting a much better comeback. Unfortunately, while the game is okay, it was not where fans were expecting. The game play is good and on bar with prior iterations, but the story, dialogue, and general gameplay did not Quite hit the general expectation. I am still hopeful that we get a decent sequel but I will not hold my breath.

Better than it's predecessors, amazing gameplay and story!
