The single player is definitely worth the purchase. I am a multiplayer shooter fan myself and this game falls a little short imo. Great story and lots of game to play otherwise.

Do not go into this expecting Mass Effect 2. The gameplay is fantastic, but the story and characters aren't nearly as engrossing as previous entries. It's a great game for sure.

I purchased this game in pre-release and it arrived on the release date. The game is super easy to play and very fun. The aspect that lets you choose your path is very cool too.

I have been a fan of this series since the first one came out on the 360 back when it was exclusive to xbox. I have been excited for this title for over a year and once i got to play it i enjoyed it tremendously. The campaign is very good with a lot to do and the multiplayer is very addicting.

I've put in a days worth of play into the game and it seems like the typical Mass effect gameplay. I'm not sure why this gets such bad reviews I've enjoyed it so far

I was hesitant to purchase, but after putting some time in the base game is still like the mass effect I enjoyed on 360. If you liked those, I think you will enjoy Andromeda.

Andromeda has it's fair share of technical problems, but it seems they're being worked on. I'd say my biggest complaint having picked up the deluxe edition is that the content definitely did not justify the price increase. Just get the standard edition... all the combat and maneuverability enhancements the core game has recieved are still there, you just don't get a couple of pretty basic weapons that according to EA are worth like, $10 more? Lame, only got because my gamers club discount kept the price down...

While not my Favorite title by Bioware, I am truly enjoying my time spent with Andromeda. My wife is being very very patient while I ignore her in favor of my party members.

Andromeda's a mixed bag. Great combat, great graphics, but so-so everything else. Mass Effect fans should play this regardless because of the lore and expansive universe.

Was skeptical about this game however pleasant surprise. Wifey plays more than I do though lol

Big fan of the series. Usually the first of the new timeline is going to be slow o develop. I'm about 40% through and enjoyed it... until I bought Zelda and the switch...

Andromeda brings you back to the familiar Mass Effect model with a crew that you will get to know through conversations and quests and an awesome ship and a cool space station. This is expanded by greater planet zones and even more quests with an overarching narrative bringing it all together. This is a fun and good game, but the planet quests got repetitive and it seemed like you were just doing the same thing 4-5 times. there were some epic battles but most were short squabbles to get some loot. Overall, if you liked Mass Effect you will like Andromeda, but it doesn't feel like it is breaking much new ground.

I didn't run into a lot of the bugs everyone was talking about. It's not as good as the first three but the combat system is sleek and smooth and the story is good.

I have enjoyed Mass Effect for many years and have played all 3 originals! This game takes good aspects from all the entries and makes it what ME1 should have been exploration wise! It's growing on me fast. Add that with the stunning visuals and unique characters, and it's great!

I've waited years for this game to come out and EA did what EA does best, and that is turn great game franchises into average ones. I'm a huge fan and I don't think I finished the game... which says it all.

I love the ME series but they really screwed the pooch on this one. The campaign suffers from no power wheel and a mediocre story. Other than that it is entertaining

It's mass effect and it's great... But it's different than you remember. The cover system is automatic. The weapon wheel in combat is gone. It's multiplayer is refreshing and ties into the single player game nicely. It's fun being back in the universe even if it's not Shepherd.

Currently playing it, and it's quite fun to play. Combat's the best part of it, and current patch fixes some of the lip-syncing that people have complained about.

The game is really fun when it works. I have ran into bugs on the campaign and in the multiplayer. Hopefully they can patch it out quickly and fix most of them.

I am a huge Mass Effect fan; so naturally I was excited when they announced a new game. It's fun and if you liked the previous Mass Effect games you will like this one. The big thing that lowers the rating is that the game is extremely glitchy. It's not just your typical characters freeze or weird facial features. I've had game breaking glitches where I've had to go back to the main menu and then go back into the game. To have this happen multiple times is very frustrating.
