Doesn't exactly compare to the original trilogy but it's not a bad game in and of itself. Maybe wait for a sale if you're on the fence about it.

I'm slightly disappointed. It's pretty and all, but the voice syncs could have been better. And the animations get a little choppy now and then

This game got a lot of criticism and rightfully so. Lots of bugs, last gen visuals and a lackluster story. The final act of the game is fun.

Somewhat disappointing compared to the amount of hype and a long awaited next Mass Effect game. If the game didn't have the name Mass Effect in it people wouldn't be so hard on it though.

I felt this game had a lot. Lee hype than it lived up too. As a hige dead space and mass effect fan, I felt this game fell short. Usually I cannot put the game down until I finish.

If you played the other mass effects then this one isn’t as good but if you just getting into the series then start with this one before playing Mass Effect 1

It's nowhere near what the other games in the series are...but not as bad as everyone is making it out to be! Multiplayer is a blast!

This was my first Mass Effect experience and I was looking forward to playing it from what Bioware showed off. When I started the game the first thing I noticed was how bad the character models looked. It's like they gave up on even trying to make them look like they belong in a next gen game. The game play is okay, still quite a few bugs here and there. I wish that I had seen the actual game in motion before buying it.

It isn't as good as previous games and works quite a bit differently than the last games. Worth picking up and playing now that price has decreased.

Going into a Mass Effect game you know what you're getting into. You're in for a several hour adventure that's as interesting as it is beautiful. This game however, could not hold my interest. I am a huge fan of the first trilogy and fully expected to love this game but I didn't. The story hit a lull rather quickly and I have yet to finish it. I will eventually but I didn't have that same pull to finish the story like in past installments.

Totally disappointed with this game! I have played the mass effect series multiple times and this was such a let down!

Overall this is a decent game that unfortunately can't really live up to predecessors. Tries to implement a lot but it never seems to go anywhere meaningful

Dispite the hate, I stil enjoyed it, is it the best entry in the series - no, but that does not make it a bad game. Just temper the expectations.

While this entry doesn't stand up to the previous games in the Mass Effect series, it's still a really solid bit of sci fi roleplaying.

Finally Mass Effect if back. Hopefully the endings aren't as disappointing as the last game. Haven't even finished the first play through yet and I'm looking forward to the second in order the try different game choices and pursue alternate relationships.

I've never played the original Mass Effect series but after watching the trailer for the game and experiencing the game itself, it definitely has become one of my favorite games I own. It reminds me quite a bit in the game mechanics like of Gears of War.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, he must like it, he plays it a lot. It came with a free metal case that came separately.

Great game but the unacceptable day one bugs mean anyone but did hard fans should wait for a GotY edition.

I know there will be several fixes to update this game. As a long time Mass Effect player, the only thing that I thought they could do better is arm tool/scanner and how the characters walk and look. I know that I am about to put many hours in.

Way to ruin a great series. It had it's moments of wow. Such a huge disappointment though.
