Even though I was somewhat disappointed with this game, I still played many many hours and enjoyed the game. It's not as bad as everyone claims. I mainly give 4 stars because of the hype leading up to it and the small disappointments. Still would recommend, even to non-Mass Effect fans.

other than the main character looking like they are constipated the entire time, its a great game.

As a huge fan of the Mass Effect series, I was really excited for this game. However, it just doesn't have the same epic feel of the original trilogy. Still would recommend for fans of the previous 3 games, but not to someone new to the series. Gameplay is repetitive and body movement is stiff during combat. Visual aesthetic is very pleasing though!

I love the Mass Effect series and this game doesn’t disappoint. You know you want to play this.

I really enjoy the fluid mechanics of the game and the attention to detail. The story is compelling and interesting. I really enjoy the multiplayer experience and how it ties in with the core gameplay.

Sure, it's not Shepard. It's not ME1 or ME2. But in its own right, this game is still awesome.

I am a long time mass effect fan and had high hopes for this game. Sadly the game lacks polish. The animations are poor, there is texture pop ins, and playing on a sony 4k with HDR 10, graphically I expected a lot more. After playing Horizon Zero Dawn, this looks like a previous gen game. I bought 2 copies of the game (one for my son in college), the guide, novel and art book. I returned all of it except the games because they were opened. On the plus side, the Nomad is fun to drive, theres a lot of mix n matching you can do for your class and the combat is fun. Hopefully they patch the issues, but it wont wash the initial stink off. I compare it to stepping in d00d00. You can wash it off with a hose, but a few bits are still in the grooves of your show so the odor lingers.

Decently fun so far, but it doesn't feel finished. I'm surpised it launch with this many bugs and that's saying something for a Bioware game! The one thing I can't get over are the faces, good god, the character models in this game will haunt me for life! I hope this is patched.

Another great entry into the Mass Effect series. Even though we've moved on from Conmander Shepard this entry in the series still feels familiar and at the same time moves the series forward.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a good addition to the Mass Effect universe. Although the characters are new the gameplay feels the same as the earlier titles. The choose your storyline decisions and shooting mechanics are excellent, and makes you want to find out what comes next.

Mass Effect games are always incredibly fun to play; the graphics were a huge upgrade. The only knock I have is that this game just feels a little different than the previous. I can't really explain it, maybe it does seem as free flowing, but that would be my main knock.

This entry in the Mass Effect canon lives up to its predecessors. Huge, open worlds to explore, lots of tasks to complete, interesting alien species, and a simple combat interface will have you playing for hours into months. If you liked ME3, you'll like MEA. Go get it!

Lots of side quests and while some are repetitive, there is enough content to spend a lot of time with this game. Overall not at the same level as previous ME games but still a decent game. Hopefully they will keep working on fixing glitches. Recommended if on sale.

If you enjoyed MA on PS3 you will enjoy this. The game is huge. Vast planets to explore. There are a few glitches but as I can remember the other MA games had these same type of issues with dialogue and animation . It's gives it the classic Mass Effect feeling IMO.

I initially waited to purchase this game until they updated & fixed all the complaints I'd been reading about. Which it now was been updated & I can safely say this is Very Good game, Not Great! But Good. just dont compare to the previous installments. ENJOY!

I've played every Mass Effect game, and Andromeda has been the most enjoyable for me. There are a variety of customizations of weapons, vehicle, armor, etc. Traveling through space with your companions, fighting battles, trying to save humanity. Thumbs up!

The mass effect franchise is quite honestly one of my favorites. Not sure what went wrong exactly but this is not up to par with the first three. The graphics of a video game should not be all that matters but it does not help when it distracts this much. Still a good game but not a great like its predecessors.

Yes, the game is a hot mess of bugs and weird stuff but there is still a fun game underneath it all. It's pretty much a game for first timers to the Mass Effect series who can put all the problems aside of super fans who just want more form that universe.

Mass Effect 3 is one of my all-time favorite games, both for the story and the multiplayer mode. In contrast, this game is collecting dust on my shelf—story unfinished, multiplayer hardly touched. I wouldn't regret it at Black Friday prices, but my full-price purchase has yet to get me my money's worth.

It takes a lot to convince me to write a good review for Mass Effect after the ending of ME3. However, Andromeda is a new story with new gameplay aspects and characters. I haven't finished it yet, but it's been a lot of fun so far. 4 stars!
