The next installment in the great science-fantasy series (can't stress that enough). Combat is more engaging than ever and the exploration is more emphasized this go around. Awkward animations, squadmates being less important in combat and the profile system take away a lot of the replayability the previous titles have. It's not great, but there is enjoyment to be found here at times.

After finishing the original three installments on the 360 I had very high hopes. This is a good game but not the the improvements I was hoping for

I am a die hard fan of Mass effect series. I did play 1,2 and 3 few times( which I rarely do for any game) but I would say this was big of a let down. Not a very strong story to begin with. Graphics are really good and game play are ok but it kind of gets boring. The characters are also not really good as compared to previous games. I stopped playing after few hours maybe it gets better but dont have that kind of time or patience..

Mass effect series had been great,this game falls short of this legacy. Good story,huge Maps, lots. Of planets,but game was released UNPOLISHED. Bad facial animations, lots of bugs and unexpected crashes. Get it after Developer patch is release. Like is now, is not worth your time or money.

I think some people overhyped this game and were left disappointed. I feel like this is another great ME game and a solid AAA production. The story is engaging, if a bit slow to start off, and the multiplayer horde/wave mode is unique in it's rewards for the campaign that you can earn. Overall a fun game to sink at least 30-40 hours into at a minimum.

It's a good game but it lacks the tone and feel from the original trilogy. I got this on black Friday so I can't really complain.

On the whole, Mass Effect: Andromeda was a good but not great game. The combat was very fun. It is fast paced, with an improved AI, three dimensional​ and play the style (cover based or run and gun) as you want. Very enjoyable. I would have liked to be able to have greater control over squad power usage and had the ability to rapidly switch between profiles as needed; however, the absence of these do not ruin the experience. (4/5 stars) I enjoyed the exploration of the worlds, which were beautifully rendered, though not world scale the mission areas were large and unique. That being said, I would have liked to be able to have a greater degree of impact on the zones as you progress through them, driving the enemy back from their outposts as you claim more territory. The addition of random dialogue bits between you and the squad, as found in the Dragon Age games, were a welcome addition. (3.5/5 stars) As much as I enjoyed the game, and the hours I dedicated to finishing the main story and other side quests/loyalty missions I did find the story to be a few notches below where I had hoped. There is promise; however, it could have been better. That being said, I did not mind playing through it. (3/5 stars)

This game got a lot of flak the week of its release. After a few updates this game is rather enjoyable now. Give it a shot.

Mass Effect Andromeda really takes advantage of the next-gen tech with amazing graphics and sound. The story is good, however, I feel as if it shares many elements of the first trilogy. It does suffer from a few bugs and the AI can be "choppy" at times. (I heard that Bioware is addressing the issues with patches). Overall, a solid game.

Lets face it, none of the new games will live up to Mass Effect 2 but that doesn't mean they're bad games. This one is much like the third one in terms of game play but the story is still the same, aliens are trying to conquer the universe while you try to find planets to colonize. It's fun and enjoyable but it's not new or exciting and the story lacks excitement but if you enjoyed others in the series then you'll enjoy this just don't expect anything new. Def worth the $20 price tag

My first mass effect game and I'm enjoying it so far. The patches on it really helped with the wonky facial animations.

I wasn't gonna pick up this game thanks to the mixed reviews so much hate so I decided I need to try it for myself and honestly this game is great if you can pass the animation everything else looks great the aliens look amazing the humans no lie look terrible but the gameplay it's so fast pace since you got the jet pack you will die alot on this game so it's actually challenging idk why reviews say the first 5 hrs are boring no it's not it's intense the story is actually good side missions are fun overall it's a huge game and if you thinking about trying it out I say go for it don't listen to the reviews cause this game doesn't deserve that much hate it's a great game with a good story also way better combat and powers make you feel like a Jedi and multiplayer if you like mass effect 3 it's like that

I had mixed feelings going into this game, but after playing all the others I had to give it a go. The gameplay is what saves it, and the story so far has been good. You have to really care about character development and story, because you spend more time talking then actually fighting and playing the game, but it is worth it.

This game should have been awesome after Mass Effect 2 but it didn't live up to the hype. The game felt like it was rushed in development and corners were cut. Glitchy in several areas. Very boring story line and just a lot of talking. I fell asleep once playing it. Some of the features are cool but I just think they missed the mark on this game.

Andromeda is a fantastic game, and terrible facial animations aside, this game is extremely glitchy and has a lot of bugs. Something that shouldn't be as prevalent with the release of a game of this magnitude. But other than that, it truly is a wonderful game that you can easily spend 60+ hours on. Definitely would recommend.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a great game. It has excellent combat, deep customization, and discovering each new world and its inhabitants makes for a great adventure. If you can stomach the AI's poor animation and the game's obvious lack of polish (thanks EA!), I promise you'll be glad you gave it a try.

This game has a great story with amazing graphics.

Good game however it lacks the fire that Me3 had but it still manages to deliver a great story.
