This game is a nice mix of exploration and third person shooter. I gave it 4 stars because the game has a lot of bugs in it. One example, I was in a battle and my character froze and was "killed". Also, the final boss battle was easier than I expected but there is the ability to increase the difficulty. If you love a good boss battle, I suggest you increase the difficulty before the final mission. All together it's a great game with hours of engaging play.

I liked the game a lot and even though the character models don't rival other high production games of this generation, I don't think they were horrible. The environments were a sight to behold as well. Gameplay has changed quite a bit from the older Mass Effect games but it's pretty good too

If this was "Generic Space Exploration and Combat, The Video Game" it would have been pretty good. Unfortunately, it's a Mass Effect game so the standard is higher. As others have said, story is okay and cutscenes (animations) are poor. The combat is fun, though! Decent game, if you're really looking for a game like this, I'd recommend it. Don't get it expecting to be a space opera like the others though.

Give this Mass Effect game a chance as it's just as good as anything that came before it.

This game got panned a lot but i picked it up at 19 bucks and spent about 70 hours with it. I liked the cast, the combat, and would play it through again no problem

This is a Mass Effect game. Are the graphics a bit dated? Yes. But Fallout and Skyrim are too. If you love the other Mass Effect games then you'll love this game too.

I do not recommend purchasing this title until EA/Bioware implement some major fixes. Crashes and loading issues are being experienced by most players across all platforms, and in some cases (mine included), these issues make the game totally unplayable. At this point, although the game is good it's a waste of money because at some point you'll most likely be unable to play. I'd highly recommend waiting a few weeks so the publisher and developer have a chance to fix an extremely buggy game that should have causes a delay in release.

I really loved this game. I loved all of the snippets from the previous Mass effect games that were included.

i play it all the time, i love the steel book that came with it too, the game is also great, people should play it

I just pre-ordered this game, and waited 5 years for it to come out. Can't wait to see it live up to everyone's expectations!

This game would be a good start for a new Mass Effect player but not an already avid fan. Nothing like the previous Mass Effects. There is really no GOOD or BAD options, no multiple endings, no replay value, no letting most of your squad die or save them, and no saving the worlds or destroying them option, just a bland story branching off from Mass Effect franchise. Rent if you can but do not buy, it is not worth the money and I bought it on sale with gamer club discount......waste!

Good, not great. Would prefer ME trilogy instead..
