This game is taking alot of bad heat from the gameing community but the game to me is close to equal to mass effect 1. The story is pretty ok . The mechanics are fine. The only thing that really held this game down was the poor animations. Unexcusable but they are slowly fixing it so Id say buy it if your a first time mass effect buyer and def get it if your a fan of the old.

This game is a step down from the rest of the games in the series. Buggy mess, characters aren't very interesting, and the combat although more seamless, it feels like you have less control. On the plus side, there is a lot of things to do, and being a Mass Effect fan, this is definitely set in the ME universe, and that is all I really needed. If I could do a half star, 3.5/5

This game has many bugs in it. animations are a mess and have only recently been half fixed with a patch. The gameplay is actually pretty good. the story is off to a slow start and has me very uninterested in playing it. i cannot recommend this game in its current state. maybe if it gets patched up.

First off this game is good. It won't remind you of ME2 or ME3, but as a stand alone it is a solid game. Campaign is sufficient in length and you fell you get your dollars worth. As time goes through the game, exploring planets becomes 10 times more fun than the first planet so stick in there. Overall great game and leave the expectations and comparisons at the door.

Mass Effect Andromeda is an excellent continuation of the fantastic sci-fi RPG!

Con - not sure if am not doing something correctly, but there is always a long story video before the game engages. Cannot seem to bypass

This is a really good new version of the Mass Effect games. Right off if you played and liked the previous versions of Mass Effect then you will enjoy this new Andromeda as well. Similar game play and feel of the previous versions but most of the tedious task have been automated. The PS4 pro with 4K looks as good as the PC version so this was worth it.

This game is great but needs polish and needs to be smoothed. Great story, no problem there. The technical parts of the game needs to be fixed. It is quite rough with transitions. Pretty much if youre a hardcore fan, pick this up. The story is great but for someone that wants to get into it but doesn't need it right now, it is best to wait a little while.

I've never played the previous Mass Effect games and I found this one to be quite fun. It has the exploration aspects that I like in an RPG but now I'm exploring space and different planets. I also like the first person shooter elements and non-complex methods leveling up.

As title says, much better now than it was Day 1. They're currently on Patch 1.10 and the animations and cutscenes are MUCH better. Great story and scifi, awesome planets to explore. Lots to do! Great characters! Not as good as the original trilogy but still worthy enough to be in same universe (pun intended). Great deal for under $30

Andromeda tries its best to bring the great aspects of the original trilogy to a new generation of gaming, however it falters as it tries to add a fresh new take on the Mass Effect universe. Your character who acts as the Pathfinder is uninteresting compared to Commander Shepard and their story lacks the same tension as the first few games.

Although it's not quite up to par with the rest of the series (which are some of my favorite game), Andromeda is still a superb experience. The combat and movement are much improved and the game is absolutely gorgeous. Although a solid cast of characters, they could just never quite match up to some of my favorites from Mass Effect 1-3.

This game gets a lot of slack for not following the original games very close. I find it enjoyable enough, excellent graphics. The worlds tend to be very similar and i found myself backtracking the way i came in due to not knowing where i was supposed to go, a little frustrating to say the least. Overall an enjoyable game though.
