Decent continuation of the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the game was over with the trilogy but this 4th installment isn't bad. Enjoy digging into the worlds of Mass Effect again (though privately I still prefer the PC version just because I'm old school mouse and keyboard player for these types of rpg with 3rd person shooting. Still enjoyable though.

Awesome Game with great conclusion
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is one of the best role playing games out there. Great conclusion to the trilogy. The way action and story telling was designed was a great plus point to the game. I love playing it.

Another Mass Effect, Same as the rest
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a fan of the series then you will love it. About as good as the rest of the ME games. This one took a bit longer to really get into the story (but after about 8 hours the game really starts to click). Wouldn't recommend paying full price, wait for the eventual price drop when the game is 29.99 and it is totally worth it.

Eeehhhhh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really only got the game so I could say I played it. It wasn’t the best. Can’t say it was the greatest though.

Fun game, but animation is a bit lacking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game as whole is a blast. The menus are a bit confusing, but that doesn't really take away from the experience. The only big negative I can think about with this game is that the animation is a little wonky. The issues are not jarring; they just break the immersion because they are in the middle of the cutscenes.

Wow. What a great game.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is really good. I have never played any of the Mass Effect games and now I'm going to have to. Graphics, character movement, story, interaction, etc. is all great.

Excellent M. E. Story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre-ordered this game before the reviews started coming out. I was hesitant to continue with the purchase but since I owned the previous Mass Effect series I bought it anyway. The bad reviews, I just don't understand them. There are some graphical issues which will be corrected in a patch but the story is why you buy a Bioware game and this game is excellent. I sadly admit to staying up way past bed time (i.e. 4 a.m.) playing this. I know better but it is like a good book you can't put down. You always want to know what is going to happen next. Bottom line, if you like the previous Mass Effect games then buy this.

Good game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't get this game at launch because of all bugs it had. Got a great deal on it $32 (gamers club). They've fixed most of the bugs. The game is really fun to play and there's a lot to do. My main gripe is there aren't enough new species in andromeda. The multiplayer is very good and really addictive.

Return to roots of the series, for better & worse.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as the title says, Andromeda goes back to the beginning of the series, and is far more similar to the original Mass Effect than the sequels. This brings along a lot of good, and some bad, that fans are split on. It's really simple though - if you liked the original Mass Effect, you'll like Andromeda. If you found the original boring or slow and didn't care for the exploration aspect, then you won't care for Andromeda as much. Multiplayer is just like ME3's was at launch, it's unbalanced and rife with bugs, but still a good time. Give it some time and a few patches and it will be amazing.

Unfortunate but not unlovable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a fan of the Mass Effect series who still feels the burn of the last hour of ME3 I had reservations going into Andromeda. After a little over a week I can say that while the game is entertaining it lacks some of the charm of the original series. The story is decent but lacks in some of the emotional depth that ME1 and ME2 had, and some of the choices lack the moral uncertainty was ever present in the original triology. And with these things lacking one would think that the developers put the time and effort into the presentation and while some of the environments are impressive, the physical features of the characters are a far cry from the potential of the systems they are played on. At their best they will cause giggles and at their worst they will haunt your nightmares. All that being said, if you are a Mass Effect fan this game is worth a play. It tells an interesting story and hopefully will serve as something of a "rock bottom" that future installments will only rise higher from.

New ME
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm enjoying the game, about 20 hours in. Has a few technical problems but I haven't encountered anything that brakes the experience. Different tone than the originally trilogy, this is much more open world and about exploration and a fresh start. Don't expect commander Shepard style story.

Fun game for multiplayer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is fun for multiplayer since development has abandoned it. It's just a good multiplayer game. If you like story and syfy you will enjoy this.

A step back for a great series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mass Effect series of games have been an excellent RPG franchise, but Andromeda's lackluster animations, boring side missions, and repetitive combat loop doom it to mediocracy. Fans of the series will find some enjoyment, but I would not recommend it as a proper starting point for anyone interested in the ME series or genre.
