This is the best dishwasher, that I have ever owned

I had to call Maytag to learn how to start this dishwasher without pushing many buttons, holding them for so many seconds, etc., even after reading and trying. 3 days after calling, waiting 30 minutes, giving up, I finally stayed on the line for 45 minutes, and someone helped me. (1 hr. 7 min phone call and she had to do a lot of checking to figure it out) Other issue - this runs for 2 hours 43 minutes. That's a lot of electricity if you ask me.

I had high hopes of using my unit once installed but that was not the case. First I had to get another plumber to put in another pipe joint to fit the install kit. Now I have to wait for the Whirlpool service company to repair the unit so it can work. Note, the install was on the 11th, and the unit stop working on the 30th. The unit is not draining wash water, so it stopped working immediately. We manually checked the drain and nothing is blocking the drain within the unit.

This dishwasher has turned out to be my WORST purchase in at least 10 years. Legitimately. Bought the dishwasher, installed it and during the first cycle, it stopped, flashed an error code and was leaking. It was very late, so we cleared the code, let the dw drain, ended the cycle and went to bed. That was the good part of the story. Woke up the next morning to find that the dishwasher, even though we had drained it AND shut it off - had leaked all night long. Our entire kitchen, dining, foyer and formal living room were soaked. And of course, it didn't end there - it also leaked into our basement. When I called Maytag, they told me to file a claim with our insurance company. That is NOT going to happen, after researching it, this dishwasher has issues with faulty inlet valves leaking - the inlet valve leaked all night and flooded our home. There are not enough words to express my anger and disappointment. I'm sure this doesn't happen to every single dishwasher Maytag makes and Best Buy sells, but since it's a known issue I can't figure out why they continue to sell these without changing the pumps.

Unbelievable how loud this dishwasher is. It makes an awful buzzing sound throughout the majority of the cycle. I liked the looks and features of the dishwasher and thought I must have got a lemon. I returned it and got the same one. This one also had the same awful buzzing sound. Took it out and returned it looking for another brand. It’s hard to understand the reviews stating how quiet the dishwasher is as I could hear it buzzing away from the back bedroom.

This is a really nice dishwasher had it for a few weeks and love it so far. If you have the Best Buy agreement they take out the old and install the new one which was a God sent because otherwise you have to pay to have it taken care of yourself. Love that I have had it 8 months and have used it twice, so it has paid for itself.

I got the sale price from memorial day. Quiet and functions well.

good, solid, but water forming on door and can't get any satisfaction yet from Maytag, thought Best Buy would help, since we just bought it, but they said they would not without purchasing their warranty. disappointing.

Very efficient and high level of cleanliness. Purposely put in pan after cooking steak without pre-washing and it came out pristine as promoted.
