  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Does this model have a "Dry" option control? I want to be able to air dry the dishes. Thank you.

A: My Maytag Dishwasher has a Heated Dry option on the Controls. By not clicking on this Option, then you would air dry your dishes. Jim B

Q: What does the "auto" setting do? I just bought this dishwasher and the manual doesn't tell you anything about any of the settings.

A: Hello fred! This model has 4 Hour Delay, Control Lock, High Temp, Long Heated Dry, Sani Rinse, and Short Heated Dry. We hope this helps.

Q: Hi, Does this model have a moveable (and removable) silverware basket?

A: Yes it does, the silverware basket has a slot on the right side but I removable and can be placed in other areas of the dishwasher.
