Not sure if it is filling with enough water, top of clothes look dry for most of wash cycle.

I need to wash the clothes on extra water cycle. Holds a lot of clothes. Some of the dark clothes had a residue on them.

Real nice washer. Only thing I dislike is the DONE button stays on until you remove the load. So if you do laundry at night and get it the next day the light is still on.

Every new HE washer requires a learning curve. This isn't my first HE set. I like the top loading agitator-less tub. It holds a lot and does a good job cleaning with minimal detergent. My gripe: if the load is off balance when going into spin cycle, the washer will "walk" all over the place. You have to manually stop the washer, wait forever for it to stop spinning and unlock the lid, redistribute the load, restart the washer and hope your efforts fixed the problem. That happens maybe once every 14 loads for me. Otherwise, a good unit. We will see how long it lasts.

It is a washing machine, it uses little water as it conserves it and as a top loader it does do the job. However, I am sure there are better washing machines should one decide to spend a little more. The current MSRP price point is always bad (it is usually always on sale!). Wait for a sale. I do not soil my clothes or have kids that would but as far as my lifestyle this does keep my clothes clean, looking new (minimal fading/wear), and very fresh with the detergent I use for this thing. I rate it average. It doesn't exceed any expectations but it doesn't disappoint.

The cycles are a little bit complex to understand and it doesn't sense well, but you will eventually get the hang of which cycle does well for what load type and then it will become enjoyable to use. You can't start running the water as you load the washer. The washer will only start running water once the lid is shut. Also, if you put it on one setting and want to switch it to one that will soak more, it will drain all the water and restart instead of just adding water.

Bought this washer and the matching dryer to replace an older set....Was worried about not having an agitator inside the drum, but the washer drum does a good job washing/cleaning our clothes.

We bought this washer after moving into our new home. Washer is great and gets clothes clean. You are able to hear the machine when a cycle is running, but it’s not anything too bad.

It took me some time to adjust to a Maytag washer w/o an agitator, but I must admit I stared in through the glass window for many loads! And my dog didn't like all the new noises, with water going in, stopping and starting, and noisy draining. But now we are both used to everything new after replacing a 19 year old Amanda agitator washer.

Love this model fast gets clothes clean i hated that adjtater one middle pipe thing this is completely different look inside it ..makes poping sound spins but best used

This washer seemed like exactly what I was looking for. But there were a fair number of bad reviews and I was nervous. I didn't need to be scared. One wise reviewer said to READ THE DIRECTIONS and follow them. I did and I am very happy with the results. This is not your mother's washer and it works differently. But quite splendidly!

Getting accustomed to no agitator gave me a lot of extra room for clothes and found the clothes were not as wrinkled....the washing procedure takes a little longer than my old Maytag but is more efficient and saves water. Has a lot of bells and whistles on it and more than I think I will ever use. Great product and will recommend to all.

I love it. To go from a 15-20 yr old washer to a new HE with a water level sensing machine took getting use to. Would not go back to one with an agitator either. No more going to laundromat to do blankets or bulky jackets either.
