After a few hours on the phone with tech support, who were very professional, BB agreed to bring out a new washer. The new washer has worked flawlessly, and is very easy to use.

All of my appliances are Maytag because they are dependable and stand up to heavy usage.

At 5'3" I need a machine that is not too tall or deep, so I can reach in to remove washed items and this one is the perfect height and depth.

It's also odd that it uses very little water, although for small-medium loads, it seems to clean ok. Large loads must use the "Sheets/Bulky" cycle to get enough water

The Department of Energy standards state how much water any water-based appliances can use, and our Washers meet all of their stringent guidelines. I’ve owned a few Maytag appliances over the years and they have always performed well. This has been no different. Get washing options and the prop was great.
