Not the Maytag I grew up with.

It thought maybe these people had too high of expectations for this price range. After all, it's a Maytag. It must be good. Much to my disappointment, it was sooooo loud. Even worse, it was loud through the whole wash. It constantly adds water to the load. It also makes this whirring noise as it agitates that is awful. I exchanged it for a Samsung pair in the same price range that is great.
