Purchased both washer and dryer after HR Gregg failed to live up to their agreement on delivery. Cancelled order. Went to Bust Buy and told the salesperson what I wanted and how to have it delivered. Told me no problem. Two delivery people came to my home and followed my request. And installed. Unfortunately one year later after purchase, I had a major issue with the dryer. But that was more Maytag's fault.

I read the reviews that said it was loud. It thought maybe these people had too high of expectations for this price range. After all, it's a Maytag. It must be good. Much to my disappointment, it was sooooo loud. Even worse, it was loud through the whole wash. It constantly adds water to the load. It also makes this whirring noise as it agitates that is awful. I exchanged it for a Samsung pair in the same price range that is great.

The washer is good for holding large loads, but if the load is too heavy (could be heavy at halfway full if it's towels) it goes crazy, lifting up and bouncing all around. It also doesn't completely soak clothes on top. The sensor is awful.

Love the efficiency of this unit, the only down side is that I discovered there is no estimated time so you know when the cycle will be done.

Cleans close well and is pretty quiet. Love having this and the matching dryer in our new home. No regrets!

Washer has a see-through top to allow you to watch the cycles. The washer decides how much water to use based on the weight of the clothes. It is fun to watch the tub "shimmy" as it redistributes the load. The only problem is that since it is energy efficient, it takes almost twice as long to complete the cycle.

Gets clothes clean and it's fun to watch! nice price!

nice mid size washer for a decent price. the new low profile agitator does a much better job than i anticipated. the Wife loves the see thru top and simple controls. the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we just got it a few weeks ago and really cant say much about long term reliability but so far so good!

The best washing machine I've had in 40 years. Love the see-through top and how quiet it is. Does a great job on the clothes

We could not be happier with this washer. It is so large inside we can do one load for every two we did with our old washer.

Love the large capacity enabled by the absence of a vertical agitator. Being able to view the load through the glass lid is very helpful.

We've done quote a bit with the loads - sheets, jerseys, shoes, blankets... The washer has held up to it all. Great washer for the price.

The washer works very well. It has much more space then my prior washer. I have no issues to report at this time and would recommend.

I really enjoy my new Maytag, and if it keeps going like the commercials and leave the maintenance guys twiddling their thumbs, it will be a jewel!

Takes some adjusting to how it works.Has a few quirks that I’m not thrilled with but overall like the machine. It’s my clothes clean.

This is my first top-loading machine in years, but I could not be happier. I will not go back to a huge front loading smelly washer. This is quiet, with little water usage, and doesn’t take an hour to finish. The price is so much better and it has great speed for wringing out the water and preparing clothes for a dryer.
