Did lots of reading of specs, reviews, etc on line as well as talking with Maytag dealer and friends. Narrowed choices and then went to store to see and talk with appliance rep. Based on needs, warranties and price we chose this model.

Not great for a Water saver

I am getting used to the operation of the new machine with an impeller and the new features such as water level sensoring, the amount water used to wash clothing and the different sounds this machine makes. Then there was damage incured at warehouse and so and additional price adjustment. That aside, it works well. Maytag Customer Servise is great for answering questions. Only thing is a normal cycle takes about 40 minuts.
