Had to replace a 7 year Kenmore that had problems with the switch activation. It.s as if these type of appliances are disposable any more. Had to replace a 4 year old Maytag diswasher recently too that had another electronic problem. The electronics on the appliances adopt last as long as the mechanical ones these days.

Only thing is the lid at times stays locked but when finished and trying to open, but after about a minute the light shuts off for the lock and It opens. Even if the load has been done for hours, this occasionally comes up as an issue.

Clothes come out very clean and the wash time is not as long as I feared it would be. Love the tub without an agitator-no more tangled linens or garments! Finally, the tub is spacious, but Ivan still reach the bottom when unloading. I’m totally satisfied with this machine.
