Wasn't to sure about this buy at first. Not the conventual washer that I was used to but it has exceeded all of my expectations. The Auto sensing feature is a great perk along with not having an auger in the center of the basket. the top see through glass is excellent as well.

The installation was horrible. They had to come back and redo it because they didn't listen to how the machines were to be put in. The installer stated they sat the machines the way they did so the doors would not hit. I have a top load washer and a front load dryer. Only way the door would hit is if you suspended the dryer over the washer. It was very frustrating that I had to return to Best Buy multiple times over this one issue. My machines are installed they way I wanted and so far no more issues.

For the money you can't beat this washer holds plenty room

I had a whirlpool front loader that smelled like mildew all the time and digital controls. I love my new maytag top loader with knobs and no smell. Always will have top loaders from here on. Bought one for my granddaughter too. Some new sounds, but that's OK, clothes are clean, I would highly recommend my 4.3 to anyone.

This cleans better than any other washing machine I've ever had

After having a front loader for 10 years, it was nice to go back to a top loader. There were a few times, during the first month, when detergent remained on the dark clothes after washing and we had to rewash them. However, that problem has stopped and we are very happy with the washing machine.

The washer is efficient, no complaints or issues and also guiet.

Best washer I’ve owned. Great for second floor laundry

The only thing that we found is that when washing towels or bulkier items, we need to do a 2nd spin cycle as it does not spin out all of the water. This would result in using extra time in the dryer.

I purchased this Maytag washer for a few reasons. 1) made in the USA; 2) I wanted a top loading washer to replace my previous top loader without an agitator; 3) reasonable price; 4) larger capacity. The first washer we had delivered had a small piece that was broken and leaked water everywhere. The second washer did not have a leak, but clearly did not get the clothes clean. It did not move the clothes around much, even with loading it according to manufacturer’s directions. Some clothes didn’t even get wet. Dark clothes often still had detergent residue on them, requiring them to be rinsed again. I hated this washer and purchased an LG model that was similar, but was more expensive and with a larger capacity. I love the new washer and am so glad we returned this Maytag!
