The impeller puts so much wear and tear on my clothes, and stretches them terribly. Also, it doesn't get my clothes clean unless I use a very long wash cycle ("heavy soil" and "power wash"), which puts even more stress on them. Otherwise, my clothes come out smelling like they went in. I've tried using extra detergent. Also, the "deep wash" cycle seems to do the opposite of what it sounds like. When I first got this machine, it didn't seem to be cleaning clothes well, and a Whirlpool/Maytag technician came out and did some tests but said it was working as designed. One way or another, I am getting rid of this machine after having it only 6 months. Its replacement will not be any Whirlpool brands (Whirlpool, MayTag, Amana, Hotpoint, Kenmore). And I'm not getting its replacement at Best Buy.

Great washer

Worst washing machine ever

It is extremely noisy. as it agitates back and forth, it whines, . When it is spinning it knocks so loud I think my neighbors can hear it. When I called customer service they said they would send out a serviceman but if he couldn’t find something wrong it would cost me $130. They couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me if it was normal for the machine to be so loud. I had to return the first one I bought because it stopped working after 10 days. Maytag used to be a good company. Not any more
