It was awfully loud. When I washed on the hot cycle, the control panel where the knobs are were wet like it was a sauna. Needless to say I returned it and got LG instead. Major difference. The Maytag I think has a Drive belt and that is what makes all that noise.

It takes more time to wash a load of clothing. When you're in the store, it seems good. Then, you wash your clothes... and the truth comes out. I think it added an additional 20 minutes to wash my clothes, which is so time consuming.

Washer looks good but...

I called tech support and right away they knew the main circuit board failed. Has been a known problem and was told there would probably be a recall on this product. I f knew there is a problem why do they continue selling it????

Maytag Washer- Not Good

We called Maytag to see if this high noise was normal. They said it is. It's terrible. We are going to send it back and get the Samsung

The wash cycle barely moves the load , therefore the some clothes at the top never get wet. we've been using buckets of water to fill the water level above the wash load. Terrible product.

Great Washer

This was definitely it! This washer brought our water bill back down $50 and our electric bill $25 as well!!! Not only that, it actually cleans our clothes like it is supposed to!!! And I don't have to spend hours cleaning my machine each week, like I did with the Samsung! LOVE THIS WASHER!!!!

It only sprinkle the clothes. I don’t see the water above my half load. How could it wash properly and remove soapy suds at the end!

Posted .Hi Waterlily, thanks for reaching out! The Department of Energy standards state how much water any water-based appliances can use and our washers meet all of their stringent guidelines. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. Stack it up around the sides so that the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to last row of holes inside the washer to help avoid overloading. The bulky cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again!

My clothes. I can look through the window in the lid and see NO water over my clothes I am very disappointed in this product..

Good machine for the price
