Doesn't matter what settings I use or how little/much I put in the washer, some loads are still dry and the clothes that were on top when the load was put in, are still on top at the end of the cycle. I end up having to run most loads twice and it takes forever to complete a load. I regret buying this washer and wish I had gone with a front loader instead of buying the hype about the wonders of a top loader with no agitator. What a bunch of bologna.

Posted .Mele, we understand your frustration and are sorry you are unhappy with the design of the washer. The Department of Energy standards state how much water any water-based appliances can use, and our washers meet all of their stringent guidelines. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. We recommend next stack it up so it is around the sides, and the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to last row of holes in the basket to help avoid overloading. The bulky cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. We are truly sorry that you are unhappy with the design, and can note your concerns.

Louder then my cheap magic chef wash machine was. Called Maytag and they even told me it was a loud machine but a good machine. Say what??? Do not buy this machine

Deep Water Cycle Not Deep

Even on deep water the machine only fills up less than a quarter of the way up. The clothes barely get wet! The water level on the other cycles are not any better.

The washer drain & spin cycle has to be run twice. Once with the normal cycle and then once again manually. Even then the clothes still come out to wet to dry. I would not buy this again.

Takes forever to do a load of wash

I have never been so unhappy with a washer. It takes a long time for a load of wash to get done and I feel it does not to a great job at cleaning the clothes.

I have since continued to have issues, but the warranty is now up. A washer should definitely last longer than a year. Very displeased!

Repair man will be here Monday . Vibrates and stays off balance and doesn’t spin the clothes out very well ! I hate it !

Anything that in not near the bottom or the agitator your clothes are not clean. Buy a washer with an agitator or go front loader

I had a service call today on 4/7/21 and was told that the plastic liner, plate, and tub were bad and need to be replaced. The service tech says that he hasn't seen one this bad being so new. I was on hold for 40 minutes with Maytag to set this appointment up. And btw, surprise, it's a Hotpoint unit since they bought Maytag. They set me up for an appointment for a Monday and the service company didn't know anything about it. And I had to set up another appointment for one week later on the following Monday which was 4/5/21. So, forget great service from Maytag! Maytag's reputation was great but I am telling you not to buy that!

Gave the delivery guys $20 ok only to find out they were used Gave the delivery guys $10 wHen they took them back so it cost me$30 to unhook and rebook you my old washer and dryer. Not Happy!!

Unfortunately, I am out of the return time frame. It shakes so violently on the high spin cycle, it is scary. I can even feel a blast of wind when it is on high spin. Best Buy installers have made verified the machine is level and it still shakes like crazy, even though the loads are never out of balance. Whether it is a large or small load, the machine shakes and I have tried everything -- nothing seems to work. I cannot reach anyone at Maytag to ask for assistance because no one picks up the phone. I am at my wits end and want to sell the machine. I would never recommend this washer.

No matter what I set it at. I am forced to double do laundry by using a soak cycle first with soap and then the wash cycle next and still often times clothes are just not clean! Worst washer Ever! If I could I would give this a negative -4 stars! I know it is supposed to be water efficient however if you have really dirty clothes not just a little sweat don't buy this one! If just a little sweat and mild dirt it may be ok.
