The detergent drawer is flimsy to close and not as nice. The controls are a pain compared to my last Maytag. It cleans as well. Very unhappy: when delivered, it had a big ad stuck to the door that, when peeled off, left a huge bunch of sticky gunk that was very hard to remove. That shouldn't have even been on there - it wasn't on a showroom floor!

Left a well running Maytag when we moved and decided to buy another. What a mistake. Best Buy sold me a 3 year old unit that Maytag gave me a hard time honoring the warranty. Nothing but problems. Good luck trying to reach someone at Best Buy. All agents are busy...try again later.

Best Buy Cheated Me!

Now the machine has problems and BestBuy will not replace it and Whirpool is giving me trouble because they say the machine is from 2018. I used 2 buy from BB all the time, I've been Elite Member for several years in a row, never shopping here again.

Disappointment

We have been waiting a month now for them to get a part to fix it... and they cancelled 2 appointments to get it fixed already. Beyond upset at the quality of the product as well as they service they sold us when we purchased it.

Maytag service is the worst

I have only had it for 6 months and today is the second time I have had to call for repair. Maytag is terrible to work with. It takes 2 weeks or longer for service and they refuse to replace it. You can only use their authorized service people. The machine is with out power and I can’t even get my clothes out. Will never by another Maytag appliance again!

My experience so far has been great. My clothes are clean, and the water spins out of them nicely. No issues with load balance for heavy loads. The machine is louder than my old one, but the laundry room is far enough away that it doesn’t bother me.

It traps water so it always has an odor and the Affresh cycle does not correct it. The rubber gasket needs to be manually cleaned after every wash or two and the detergent tray also has to be cleaned on a regular basis. 2-3 hour cycles. Buy something else. I loved my old top load Maytag but this one is a miss.

DO NOT BUY, bonus is that when it breaks, Maytag has the most terrible customer service I have ever seen or heard of. I am going on 2 weeks without a working washing machine and the next service date is 1/6/2022.
