They guys that delivered told us how to start but getting it to start is an ordeal. Have been trying for two hours today and so far no luck. Would not recommend for that reason only. I thought is was going to be very simple.

I am wondering where the quality went. This is the worst washing machine we have owned in 50 years. After using for 2 months the start button that did not work to begin with is already worn through the control panel. The machine is very noisy, Water leaks to the floor when trying to use bleach holder. It is suppose to save water but totally empties if you need to stop and restart to add anything or try to presoak, also does not fill with enough water to cover clothes so half the load does not even get wet. I am so frustrated with this washing machine I would take it to the Dump and purchase a different brand if we had not just purchased 2 months ago.

Maytag 4.5 cu ft top loading washer.

The softer must be diluted with water and that’s Inconvenient. The detergent must be added at the bottom before any Laundry is loaded.

If you put it on auto for the size of the load, it will flash like it’s detecting the load but, it just doesn’t start. It’s pretty annoying because it feels random.
