The selector wheel makes changes wash modes easy and you can use the buttons/screen to fine tune as needed. Simple yet plenty of controllable options. Maytag app is ok, pairing/connecting to home network was easy enough. Google Home integration not great but good enough. Best thing is the wash capacity is HUGE. You can fit so much into this washer.

My only complaint is Best Buy, the manufacturer, and the installation people need to get it together and get on the same page. Anything for a sale though.....

Board went out and replaced only to fail two days after repair. Machine is extremely loud and shakes during spin cycles and clothes always went or not rinsed completely because rinse cycle only last 15 mins. Second machine purchased at Best Buy to have multiple problems. This was even a replacement and didn’t even last 2 full two years

It seems like every wash load would go off balance. I have large loads so this happened all the time. Noise, noise, noise was too loud. We live in a condo so this was unacceptable. The Maytag dryer companion did not seem to ever completely dry towels or clothes. I returned both Maytag washer and dryer for an higher level LG washer/dryer. The difference has been shocking. There is no noise and I forget I am doing laundry. LG units are quiet as a mouse.

The only problem was that the dryer was damaged. The damaged dryer was hooked up and we are using it until our replacement comes on Nov. 3rd. The washer & dryer are both working well and we are pleased with the way they look and their performance. We would definitely buy Maytag again.
