Back to the basics with agitator The washing machine works great and cleans well

Love this washer, is big enough to fit two loads in if necessary. The agitator makes it even better.

This Maytag washing machine is still after all the "new" technology which I don't consider an improvement in the process, but that said, it is a huge improvement over my previous LG machine. It is much easier to clean and seems to be less prone to developing a smell of mold.

Great washer. Quiet and lots of options to choose from. I highly recommend.

Didn't want a front load washing machine and wanted an agitator. This fit my criteria.

We recently replaced a VERY old white whirlpool w/d set that had been finally giving it up. We did ALOT of research into a replacement top load washer WITH AGITATOR (old school) and matching dryer. The choice ended up coming down to Maytag or GE. Our local Best Buy just happened to have both sets in stock to look at which really helped!! and with the help of the BB appliance floor rep’s advice, we chose the Maytag set. Our old set was definitely no frills as far as settings and options go and that’s ok as we are no frills laundry types. This set certainly has more new bells and whistles but not in an overwhelming way. The BB delivery team set everything up and made sure we understood how each piece worked, via demonstration, before they left. This set has definitely done the job thus far and we are absolutely pleased! Elaine Winterville NC

Bought this and matching dryer for our new home a month ago and love them, especially the washer! I wanted HE, but with an agitator, as our last one was a top load LG without an agitator....super-expensive, and constantly off-balance, especially with heavy loads. This washer just inherently balances better because of the agitator. I was worried about things getting tangled—but, so far, not one item. And that happened a fair bit with the LG. I also LOVE that there is a deep-fill setting for ANY cycle, so that you can add lots of water, regardless. With the LG, you had to have it on “bedding/bulky” cycle to do that. Likewise, you can do “rapid wash” with any setting, even like towels with hot water. Could only do warm/cold loads quickly with the LG. Just a great machine. Very attractive and sleek, too. Can’t beat these for the price!

I love the Maytag and the price was great my clothes are wider than a washing machine that I had previously bought from another store it only it didn’t even last two years I didn’t bother to have it fixed when and got this Maytag and I am thrilled with it plus with the group geek squad if I ever need them I don’t even know if that’s going to happen

One of the best buys i ever made. It works great super quiet , i really recommend it.

washer works great. very quiet. Only problem is the on/off button on the control panel to press to start the wash. can take several pushes to actually come on. we both had trouble getting it started. seems to be a little less sensitive after several uses.

Other than the idea that smart technology washers determine smaller water levels are best, I have no complaints. Many nice features for the price and wonderful warrenty. Trying to get used to the changes from my ancient washing machine, but it's only been a few weeks.

Great washer. A few interface glitches, but nothing significant. Sometimes it doesn't register commands, but eventually it works. It is the best that can be expect given that manual interfaces no longer exist.

Love the washer so far. I’m glad it has an agitator to help clean the clothes.

Love the large tub without having a large oversized machine. So far love everything about it.
